TL;DR: Results revealed that i.p. injections of nicotine induced place preference but changed the numbers of compartment crossings, rearings, and sniffings; inhibition of the right part of the nucleus increased the intensity of this phenomena.
Abstract: Effects of transient inhibition of the core part of the nucl. accumbens (NAcC) by lidocaine on nicotineinduced conditioned place preference in male Wistar rats were examined. Lidocaine (2%) was injected into the NAcC of nicotine-conditioned animals before each nicotine i.p. injection. On the test day, behavior of the animals in a two-lcompartment apparatus was recorded during 10 min. Results revealed that i.p. injections of nicotine (1.0 or 1.5 mg/kg) induced place preference. Transient lidocaine-induced inhibition of one or both sides of the NAcC did not change place preference but changed the numbers of compartment crossings, rearings, and sniffings. Inhibition of the left part and both parts of the structure reduced sniffing and increased place preference; inhibition of the right part of the nucleus increased the intensity of this phenomena.

TL;DR: In this paper, a three-dimentional samarium(III) coordination polymer with btcH4 was used for the preparation of the Sm2O3 nanoparticles and the results of single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses reveal that compound is a 3D coordination polymer.
Abstract: A treatment of benzene-1,2,4,5-tetracarboxylic acid (btcH4) and pyridine-2,3-dicarboxylic acid (pydcH2) with Sm(NO3)3·6H2O led to the formation of a new three-dimentional samarium(III) coordination polymer (just with btcH4),{[Sm(btcH2)0.5(btc)0.5(H2O)]·2H2O}∞ (1). Compound 1 was characterized by infrared spectroscopy, elemental analyses as well as by X-ray diffraction studies. The results of the single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses reveal that compound is a 3D coordination polymer. The polymeric network of 1 contains Sm(III) ions bridged by btcH2 2− and btc4− ions. Each four-dentate btcH22− ion is connected to four Sm3+ ions through the four oxygen atoms of two deprotonated carboxyl groups and btc4− is coordinated to six Sm3+ ions as tree-dentate coordination through the four carboxylate groups. btc4− is also connected to two additional Sm3+ ions through the oxygen atoms. Samarium(III) ion is nine coordinated by oxygen atoms of two different btcH2 2−, two btc4− ligands and one water molecule. Many hydrogen bonds of the O–H···O type are also present in the crystal structure of 1 and assemble the polymeric chains and the co-crystallized water molecules into a 3D architecture. The coordination polymer 1 was used for the preparation of the Sm2O3 nanoparticles. Synthesized Sm2O3 nanoparticles were characterized by infrared spectroscopy, powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) and scanning electron microscopy. The body- centered cubic structure of Sm2O3 was determined by PXRD.

TL;DR: The main reason for global warming is CO2 increase that is obtained from burn reaction as mentioned in this paper, and one of the practical approaches is reducing CO2 decreasing in electricity sector, which is a global resolution for declining CO2 emission.
Abstract: Environment is subject to many pressures. Climate change and the global warming constitute an additional pressure. The “climate change” and its consequences are more important than other challenges in 21 century. The global temperature has risen by more than 2.5 °C in recent years. Similarly, a global temperature rise of more than 2.5 °C increases the absolute number of people at risk of hunger by 80 million. Recent estimates indicate that 25% of the world’s mammals and 12% of birds are at significant risk of global extinction. The main reason for global warming is CO2 increase that is obtained from burn reaction. According to California university, CO2 emissions result from emissions of: transportation 49%, electricity 30%, industrial 11%, residential 7% and commercial 3%. In the mean time, CO2 concentration is 360 ppm even, if severity plan will be applied as per Kyoto protocol it will arrive at 450–650 ppm in 2100. Thus, there is a global resolution for declining CO2 emission and one of the practical approaches is CO2 decreasing in electricity sector. Each of energies has strengths and weaknesses and we focus more on nuclear energy because its CO2 emission is zero. It should be added, in most of countries there is a tax for gas e.g. in the U.K. 3.4$/gallon and in Italy 2.53 $/gallon, so fossil fuel is an income for their governments but for nuclear energy government pays subsidies. Therefore it is not possible to debate about it before removing tax and subsidy. In recent years, it has been stated about tax on carbon production that it is a step forward to low carbon economy and finding the real cost of fossil fuel with attention to external costs in the environment.
