TL;DR: In this article, the morphology, chemical composition and microstructure properties of SnO2 nanowires are characterized using field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM), EDS, and XRD.
Abstract: The aim of this research is preparation of SnO2 nanowires by means of Thermal chemical reaction vapor transport deposition (TCRVTD) method from SnO powders. The morphology, chemical composition and microstructure properties of the nanowires are characterized using field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM), EDS, and XRD. The XRD diffraction patterns reveal that the SnO2 nanowires have been grown in the form of tetragonal crystal structures with the lattice parameter of a=b=0.440 nm, and c=0.370 nm. The SEM images reveal that SnO2 nanowires have successfully been grown on the Si substrate. The EDS patterns show that only elements of Sn, O and Au are detected. Prior to the VLS process the substrate is coated by a thin layer of Au. The diameter of nanowires is measured to be something between 20-100 nm.

Abstract: This research discusses future development of Iran’s petroleum industry by using strategic management approaches relying on scenario-based planning models. The theoretical frame of this research is a normative paradigm in upper range documents advocate approach. Delphi methods, cross-impact analysis, and scenario-based planning have offered flexible and comprehensive planning combinations in proposing new styles in foresighting products development. In addition, Micmac software was employed to analyze dates. In this research, 235 influencing factors on a product development trend were selected using a PESTEL model and a Delphi approach, then the effects of these factors on each other were tested that eventually 22 key factors were selected. Among 22 key factors, 2 main factors including “political relations” and “the government’s dependence on petroleum” were selected using a cross-impact analysis. After that, a 2×2 matrix was formed that contains four scenarios including a playful rabbit, a runaway snake, a noble horse, and a sleeping lion. This research can enhance decision making abilities of top managers through identifying key signals of how each scenario appear in future of Iran’s petroleum industry. Results show that management team of petroleum products requires serious etiology and attitude rehabilitation. Key words : Futurology; Scenario planning; Iran’s petroleum products; Key factors; PESTEL model; Micmac software

TL;DR: It seems the sharp decreased of Mnemiopsis abundance could be related the decreasing of ova reproduction; and food ability is the main reasons of M. leidyi sustained in the southern Caspian Sea.
Abstract: Mnemiopsis leidyi population activities first were recorded during the coastal observations in 2001 in which its population considerably increased afterward and now sustained the southern Caspian Sea. Maximum summer-autumn M. leidyi abundance was recorded in euphotic layer in 2002 (851±85 ind. m -3 ) and maximum biomass was in 2001 with 48.1±14.4 g. m -3 ) while minimum were in aphotic layer. In years 2003 to 2011, M. leidyi abundance and biomass sharply declined to 1-843 ind. m -3 and 0.07-37.7 g. m -3 , respectively. The length-frequency distribution of Mnemiopsis showed larval, juveniles and transitional stages that made up 98.6% of the total population. In the southern Caspian Sea, Acartia tonsa was the highest number of mesozooplankton species (36 species) which decreased tenfold after Mnemiopsis invasion during 2001-2010. Fecundity experiments of Mnemiopsis showed the average of 8 eggs. day -1 , with a maximum of 35 eggs.day -1 which increased with increasing body length. The main food was larger amounts of zooplankton prey such as copepodites and adult of A. tonsa. It seems the sharp decreased of Mnemiopsis abundance could be related the decreasing of ova reproduction; and food ability is the main reasons of M. leidyi sustained in the southern Caspian Sea. The objective of present study was to provide information about parameters influencing the M. leidyi decreased after initial bloom invasion in the southern Caspian Sea.

TL;DR: In the centrosymmetric dinuclear complex anion of the title compound, (C5H8N3)2[Bi2(C7H3NO4)4(H2O)2]·4H2 O, the BiIII atom is eight- coordinated in an N2O6 environment and has a distorted bicapped trigonal–prismatic coordination environment.
Abstract: In the centrosymmetric dinuclear complex anion of the title compound, (C5H8N3)2[Bi2(C7H3NO4)4(H2O)2]·4H2O, the BiIII atom is eight-coordinated in an N2O6 environment and has a distorted bicapped trigonal–prismatic coordination environment. Extensive intermolecular O—H⋯O, N—H⋯O and weak C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds lead to the stability of the crystal structure. Interactions between one C—H group of the 2,3-diaminopyridinium [(2,3-dapyH)+] cation and the aromatic ring of the pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylate (pydc) ligand (C—H⋯centroid distance = 2.78 A) and π–π interactions between the (2,3-dapyH)+ cations and between the (2,3-dapyH)+ cation and the pydc ligand [centroid–centroid distances = 3.489 (5) and 3.694 (5) A] are observed.
