TL;DR: In this article, a total of 124 rock samples have been systematically obtained from various layers of Bagh Vang Section for biostratigraphic study, and some index fossils of Fusulinidae have been recorded and the following assemblage zones have been selected that are equivalent to international biozones.
Abstract: Bagh Vang Section is located at about 45 km to the Northwest of Tabas and South of Shirgesht areas. In Bagh Vang Section, the Permian deposits of the Jamal Formation with a thickness of 270 m are underlain by the Sardar Formation disconformably. The formation is also transitionally and conformably overlain by Lower Triassic deposits of Sorkh Shale Formation. A total of 124 rock samples have been systematically obtained from various layers of Bagh Vang Section for biostratigraphic study. Forty one genera and 48 species of foraminifera; 10 genera and 12 species of algae have also been determined through this study. According to the biostratigraphic study, some index fossils of Fusulinidae have been recorded and the following assemblage zones have been selectedthat are equivalent to international biozones (Leven, 1975; Ishii, 1975): Paradunbarula – Geinitzina Assemblage Zone (Murghabian),Dagmarita – Paraglobivalvulina Assemblage Zone (Djulfian), Colaniella – Reichelina Assemblage Zone (Changhsingien). Further, geochronology of Member 1 and Member 2 of the Jamal Formation (Bagh Vang Member) is attributed to Early Murghabian, according to the index fossils.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the clinical manifestations and the risk of venous thromboembolism regarding multiple clinical, laboratory, and demographic properties in FVL patients.
Abstract: BACKGROUND Activated protein C resistance (APCR) due to factor V Leiden (FVL) mutation (R506Q) is a major risk factor in patients with venous thromboembolism (VTE). The present study investigated the clinical manifestations and the risk of venous thromboembolism regarding multiple clinical, laboratory, and demographic properties in FVL patients. MATERIAL AND METHODS A retrospective cross-sectional analysis was conducted on a total of 288 FVL patients with VTE according to APCR. In addition, 288 VET control samples, without FVL mutation, were also randomly selected. Demographic information, clinical manifestations, family and treatment history were recorded, and specific tests including t-test, chi-square and uni- and multi-variable regression tests applied. RESULTS APCR was found to be 2.3 times significantly more likely in men (OR: 2.1, p < 0.05) than women. The risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE) in APCR patients was 4.5 and 3.2 times more than the control group, respectively (p < 0.05). However, APCR could not be an independent risk factor for arterial thrombosis (AT) and pregnancy complications. Moreover, patients were evaluated for thrombophilia panel tests and showed significantly lower protein C and S than the control group and patients without DVT (p < 0.0001). CONCLUSION FVL mutation and APCR abnormality are noticeable risk factors for VTE. Screening strategies for FVL mutation in patients undergoing surgery, oral contraceptive medication, and pregnancy cannot be recommended, but a phenotypic test for activated protein C resistance should be endorsed in patients with VTE.

TL;DR: In this article, an electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) was used to detect stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in stainless steel 304-alloy exposed to anaqueous environment at 120°C.
Abstract: Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) was used to detect stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in stainless steel 304 alloy exposed to an aqueous environment at 120 °C. Stainless steel 304 alloy as u-bend was tested in the solution that contains 40 weight percent of magnesium chloride. Ubended samples were prepared according to ASTM G30. EIS measurements were always performed simultaneously on u-bend samples under stress and non-stress conditions. The results indicate that changes in phase shift versus time could be related to the stress corrosion cracking process. Stress corrosion cracking is detectable at a frequency of 23.95 Hz. EIS measurement can be used for SCC monitoring in u-bend samples. Finally, analysis of the fracture surface by using metallographic and

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors re-examine the relationship between capital structure and return growth by investigating on 12 Iranian private banks using structural equation modelling over the period 2005-2011 and the proposed study of this paper designs a questionnaire and distributes it among experts and analyse it use LISREL software package.
Abstract: Article history: Received May 12, 2013 Received in revised format 25 June 2013 Accepted 27 June 2013 Available online July 1 2013 Capital structure plays essential role on financial strength of business units and there are literally many studies to confirm the relationship between capital structure and return growth. In this paper, we re-examine this relationship by investigating on 12 Iranian private banks using structural equation modelling over the period 2005-2011. The proposed study of this paper designs a questionnaire and distributes it among experts and analyse it use LISREL software package. The result indicates that there is a positive and meaningful relationship, when the level of significance is five percent between capital structure and stock return in private banking industry in Iran. The implementation of Pearson and Spearman correlation tests also validate the findings. © 2013 Growing Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
