TL;DR: The reaction of strontium(II) nitrate with the proton-transfer compound (pdaH2)(py-3,5-dc)·H2O leads to the formation of the title polymeric compound, [Sr(C7H3NO4)(H 2O)4]n as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: The reaction of strontium(II) nitrate with the proton-transfer compound (pdaH2)(py-3,5-dc)·H2O (where pda = propane-1,3-diamine and py-3,5-dcH2 = pyridine-3,5-dicarboxylic acid) leads to the formation of the title polymeric compound, [Sr(C7H3NO4)(H2O)4]n. The propane-1,3-diaminium cation is not incorporated in this crystal structure. The SrII atom lies on an inversion centre and is eight-coordinated by four O atoms from three py-3,5-dc ligands and four O atoms from four coordinated water molecules. The coordination polyhedron of the SrII atom is a distorted dodecahedron. These binuclear units are connected via the carboxylate O atoms to build a one-dimensional polymeric chain. In the crystal structure, non-covalant interactions consisting of hydrogen bonds (X—H⋯O, with X = O and C) and π–π stacking interactions [3.4604 (19) A] connect the various components to form a supramolecular structure.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented the findings of a research on the genus Isatis L (Brassicaceae) in Iran and examined Isatis specimens kept in major herbaria of Iran carefully.
Abstract: This paper presents the findings of a research on the genus Isatis L.(Brassicaceae) in Iran. Isatis specimens kept in major herbaria of Iran were examined carefully. Fresh specimens were collected from Tehran, Mazandaran, Semnan, Hamedan, Kurdistan, W. Azarbaijan , E. Azarbaijan, Ardebil and Ghazvin provinces. Images of type or otherwise valid specimens kept in Viena, Munich, Montpollier and Kew herbaria were obtained and considered in the research. The relationships between the species were also studied using numeric taxonomy method. The species of the genus Pachypterygium found in Iran were included in the numeric taxonomy beside the genus Isatis L. Hierarchical clustering analysis was carried out based on 69 characteristics. Dendrograms and plots were drawn.

TL;DR: The ZnII ion is six-coordinated in a distorted octahedral geometry by two pyridine-2,4-dicarboxylate (pydc) ligands in the equatorial plane and two water molecules in the axial positions to form the title compound.
Abstract: In the title compound, (C4H8N3O)2[Zn(C7H3NO4)2(H2O)2]·2H2O, the ZnII ion is six-coordinated in a distorted octahedral geometry by two pyridine-2,4-dicarboxylate (pydc) ligands in the equatorial plane and two water molecules in the axial positions. The pydc ligands act as bidentate chelating ligands through one carboxylate O atom and the pyridine N atom. Intermolecular N—H⋯O, O—H⋯O and weak C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds stabilize the crystal structure.

TL;DR: This paper presents a novel virtual machine consolidation technique to achieve energy–QoS–temperature balance in the cloud data center and certifies that physical machine temperature, SLA, and migration technique together control the energy consumption and QoS in a cloud data Center.
Abstract: Cloud-based data centers consume a significant amount of energy which is a costly procedure. Virtualization technology, which can be regarded as the first step in the cloud by offering benefits like the virtual machine and live migration, is trying to overcome this problem. Virtual machines host workload, and because of the variability of workload, virtual machines consolidation is an effective technique to minimize the total number of active servers and unnecessary migrations and consequently improves energy consumption. Effective virtual machine placement and migration techniques act as a key issue to optimize the consolidation process. In this paper, we present a novel virtual machine consolidation technique to achieve energy–QoS–temperature balance in the cloud data center. We simulated our proposed technique in CloudSim simulation. Results of evaluation certify that physical machine temperature, SLA, and migration technique together control the energy consumption and QoS in a cloud data center.

TL;DR: Using infrared thermography, the extent of temperature rise of the airbag surface was detected and measured and its resulting burn degree was calculated, indicating that during the inflation of airbag, the maximum temperature of its surface can be 92 °C ± 2 C.
Abstract: The performance of airbag and its deployment are based on a fast exothermic-chemical reaction. The hot gas resulting from the chemical reaction which results in airbag deployment can cause thermal ...
