TL;DR: In the title compound, (C6H10N2)[Ni(C7H3NO4)2]·5H2O, the NiII ion is six-coordinated by two N and four O atoms from two pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylate ligands in a distorted octahedral fashion.
Abstract: In the title compound, (C6H10N2)[Ni(C7H3NO4)2]·5H2O, the NiII ion is six-coordinated by two N and four O atoms from two pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylate ligands in a distorted octahedral fashion. The crystal packing is stabilized by intermolecular O—H⋯O and N—H⋯O and weak C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds and π–π interactions [centroid–centroid distances = 3.4669 (19) and 3.764 (2) A].

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of related services to support employee to reach job satisfaction and employee activities in one of Iranian banks called Mellat bank is investigated using 276 random samples, the results show that employees are relatively satisfied from the benefit package of the bank and they were relatively happy on working for such organization.
Abstract: Article history: Received March 22, 2012 Received in Revised form May, 8, 2012 Accepted 11 May 2012 Available online May 14 2012 One of the essential functions of human resource management is to take care of skilled employees. The process is normally divided into two categories: first category includes different activities such as having health and safety in working centers, performing healthy and sport programs and some other similar activities to save and improve employees' physical characteristics. The second group includes other important issues normally called benefit packages, which includes good health insurance and retiring plans. Whenever an organization provides good benefit package and supporting programs, there is a better job satisfaction among employee. In this paper, the effects of related services to support employee to reach job satisfaction and employee activities in one of Iranian banks called Mellat bank is investigated using 276 random samples. The results show that employees are relatively satisfied from the benefit package of the bank and they were relatively happy on working for such organization. © 2012 Growing Science Ltd. TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis of zinc selenide (ZnSe) nanocrystals by pulsed laser ablation was reported in two distinct liquid media (ethanol and acetone) by means of the 1st harmonic of high frequency Nd:YAG laser.
Abstract: Synthesis of the zinc selenide (ZnSe) nanocrystals (NCs) by pulsed laser ablation approach is reported in two distinct liquid media (ethanol and acetone) by means of the 1st harmonic of high frequency Nd:YAG laser. Based on the X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern, ZnSe NCs have both wurtzite and zinc blende structures with some overlapping peaks. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) reveals that as-synthesized NCs are relatively monodispersed and spherical in shape. UV–Vis spectra indicate that the band gap of ZnSe NCs in acetone and ethanol is blue shifted comparing to the band gap of bulk ZnSe which is due to quantum confinement effect. According to the XRD results, TEM observations and UV–Vis spectroscopy, as-synthesized ZnSe NCs in ethanol are larger than the ones in acetone. Two kinds of band edge and deep level emissions are identified by means of the room temperature photoluminescence spectroscopy.

TL;DR: An economic and technical analysis to determine the size and operation of the required gas engine for specific electricity, cooling, and heating load curves during a year has been conducted for a building and the results show that these parameters have an effect on the system’s performance.
Abstract: Combined cooling, heating, and power (CCHP) systems produce electricity, cooling, and heat due to their high efficiency and low emission. These systems have been widely applied in various building types, such as offices, hotels, hospitals and malls. In this paper, an economic and technical analysis to determine the size and operation of the required gas engine for specific electricity, cooling, and heating load curves during a year has been conducted for a building. To perform this task, an objective function net present value (NPV) was introduced and maximized by a genetic algorithm (GA). In addition, the results end up finding optimal capacities. Furthermore, a sensitivity analysis was necessary to show how the optimal solutions vary due to changes in some key parameters such as fuel price, buying electricity price, and selling electricity price. The results show that these parameters have an effect on the system’s performance.

TL;DR: It was shown that inhalation of Diazinon during pregnancy increased the hepatocyte area and hepatocyte apoptosis while it decreased the sinusoid area of the fetal liver.
Abstract: Background: Diazinon is an organophosphate that is broadly used as a pesticide to control insects and environmental pollutions. This toxic material is absorbed via inhalation, contact, or digestion and affects different tissues. Objectives: This research was a histomorphometric and immunohistochemical study of the fetal liver of mice after exposure to Diazinon. Materials and Methods: Twenty-five pregnant BALB/c mice (25 - 30 gr) were divided into five equal groups in the animal lab of Baqiyatallah University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. The normal group was without any intervention, and two sham groups received an emulsifier as 0.52 and 5.2 μL/volume (5000 cc in desiccator) and two experimental groups received Diazinon 1.3 and 13μL/volume from the seventh to eighteenth days of pregnancy every other day via forty minutes of inhalation. The pregnant mice were killed on the eighteenth day of gestation and their fetuses were removed and evaluated for fetal growth and liver development. Five fixed fetuses were dehydrated through a series of graded ethanol, embedded in paraffin wax and their whole bodies were sectioned sagittally and stained via the hematoxylin-eosin method. Quantitative computer-assisted morphometric studies were done on the fetal liver tissues occupied by hepatocytes, blood islands, liver sinusoids, and apoptosis. Results: The mean crown-rump of the fetuses and their mean weight were increased in the experimental group as compared to the sham and normal groups, but the differences were not significant. The mean percentage of the hepatocyte area significantly increased in the experimental group as compared to the sham and control groups (P < 0.0001). However, the mean sinusoid area significantly decreased in the experimental group as compared to the sham and control groups. The mean percentage of the area occupied by apoptotic hepatocytes in the experimental group - 13 μL /volume (8.6143 ± 1.00945) and 1.3 μL /volume (6.1091 ± 0.93093) - significantly increased as compared to the normal and sham groups (P < 0.0001). Conclusions: Our data showed that inhalation of Diazinon during pregnancy increased the hepatocyte area and hepatocyte apoptosis while it decreased the sinusoid area of the fetal liver.
