TL;DR: These proposed methods are sensitive, accurate, reproducible and useful for the routine determination of zonisamide in pharmacy.
Abstract: A selective and sensitive liquid chromatographic method has been developed for simultaneous determination of zonisamide and its four related substances in pharmaceutical dosage forms. The assay involved an isocratic elution in perfectsil Target C18 column using a mobile phase composition of disodium hydrogen phosphate buffer, acetonitrile and methanol (650:150:200 v/v, pH adjusted to 3±0.05) with flow rate 1.2 ml/min and analyte monitored at 240 nm. Also a simple and precise spectrophotometric method was developed for dissolution studies. These proposed methods are sensitive, accurate, reproducible and useful for the routine determination of zonisamide in pharmacy.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the removal of MTBE using ZnO and CuO nanoparticles and found that the increase in nano-oxide particle size led to an enhancement in MTBE removal efficiency.
Abstract: MTBE (Methyl Tert-Butyl Ether) is an oxygen-containing organic compound that has been used in unleaded gasoline MTBE is a gasoline additive commercially used as an octane enhancer and combustion promoter Unfortunately, it is recognized that dumping MTBE in nature, contaminates the groundwater and thus its removal is an important process This research is an experimental-laboratory study, investigating the removal of MTBE using ZnO and CuO The effect of important operational parameters on the MTBE removal from the groundwater such as pH, changes of initial MTBE concentration, particle size of zinc and copper oxide nanoparticles, and UV irradiation time was studied as well The results showed that using copper oxide nanoparticles for MTBE removal yielded higher efficiency compared with using zinc oxide nanoparticles The increase in nano-oxide particle size led to an enhancement in MTBE removal efficiency This study has shown that the yield of MTBE removal from contaminated water can be expected to be higher in the presence of UV irradiation, acidic pH, high initial concentration using copper and zinc nanocatalyst

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of a new latent accelerator and those of two common accelerators of 1-methyl imidazole and 2,4,6-tris(dimethylaminomethyl)phenol (DMP) have been studied in relation to the properties of dicyandiamide (dicy) cured epoxy resin and its prepregs with unidirectional carbon fiber.
Abstract: The effects of a new latent accelerator and those of two common accelerators of 1-methyl imidazole and 2,4,6-tris(dimethylaminomethyl)phenol (DMP) have been studied in relation to the properties of dicyandiamide (dicy) cured epoxy resin and its prepregs with unidirectional carbon fiber. The new prepared accelerator is an adduct based on DMP (A_DMP). The results showed that the curing behavior of epoxy/dicy did not change when the appropriate amount of new accelerator was used. The amount of 5 phr of new latent accelerator is equal to the amount of 0.6 phr of DMP accelerator and by increasing the amount of new accelerator, the curing reaction of epoxy/dicy increased significantly. Viscosity build-up results and gel time measurements showed the high pot-life of resin system (epoxy/Dicy/A_DMP) and the high shelf-life of their prepreg. The results showed that the lap shear strength of sample containing 5 phr of the new accelerator (A_DMP5) was increased by 127% in comparison to the sample containing 0.6 phr of DMP. Transverse tensile strength and strain-at-break were increased by 27% and 31.7%, respectively. Transverse flexural strength, flexural strain-at-break and flexural modulus increased by 52%, 11% and 60%, respectively. On the other hand, fracture toughness and fracture energy increased significantly by 214% and 700%, respectively. This increase in mechanical properties was due to the bulkiness of the new latent accelerator acting as a toughening agent and also the good adhesion of fiber to the matrix as revealed by scanning electron microscopy.

TL;DR: An approach was used for solving the first problem that uses fuzzy logic in expressing service non-functional attributes and to increase the scalability of web service discovery approach and the approach of integrating web technology with FIPA software agents technology was used.
Abstract: Web-service technologies are vitally important in integrating business applications with other applications for realizing service-oriented architecture. But there are two major challenges in this technology: (i) not effectively accounting semantics and non-functional attributes of service discovery request in service discovery and search process; (ii) high interaction between human and machine for meeting human needs. In this paper, an approach was used for solving the first problem that uses fuzzy logic in expressing service non-functional attributes. To solve the second problem, i.e. to decrease human-machine interaction and to increase machine-machine interaction on one hand and to increase the scalability of web service discovery approach on the other hand, the approach of integrating web technology with FIPA software agents technology was used. The proposed framework allows the interaction of web services and agent services by Broker. We describe how to analyze agent/web service discovery/publication request and linking them. Despite the content so DF registry and UDDI registry are inconsistent, but web service suggestion is possible for agent service discovery request by using ACL2SOAP and SOAP2ACL converter and vice versa.
