Abstract: Recently, all over the world crime against children is increasing at higher rates and it is high time to offer safety support system for the children going to schools. This paper focuses on implementing children tracking system for every child attending school. However the existing systems are not powerful enough to prevent the crime against children since these systems give information about the children group and not about each child resulting in low assurance about their child safety to parents and also does not concentrate on sensing the cry of the child and intimating the same to its parents. The proposed system includes a child module and two receiver modules for getting the information about the missed child on periodical basis. The child module includes ARM7 microcontroller (1pc 2378) Global positioning system (GPS) Global system for mobile communication (GSM) Voice playback circuit and the receiver module includes Android mobile device in parent's hand and the other as monitoring database in control room of the school. Finally implementation results for the proposed system are provided in this paper.

Abstract: The design of UV-visible light active photocatalysts for organic pollutant removal is a challenging task. Herein, we have developed an LED light active ZnO-embedded S-doped g-C3N4 (SCN) heterojunction by a facile sol–gel assisted calcination method. The heterojunction between ZnO and SCN nanoparticles generates a Z-scheme photocatalyst, which helps to separate the photo-induced charge carriers in the opposite direction, and is beneficial for more visible light absorption for photocatalytic dye degradation. The composite heterojunction shows better photocatalytic redox in comparison with pristine nanomaterials. The enhanced degradation efficiency is attributed to the high production rate of ˙OH (hydroxyl) radicals during the photocatalysis process, which is analyzed by the TA test and elemental trapping experiment. Hence, we hope that this Z-scheme heterojunction provides a new way to develop UV-visible light active photocatalysts for environmental remediation applications.

Abstract: We report on individual-InAs nanowire optoelectronic devices which can be tailored to exhibit either negative or positive photoconductivity (NPC or PPC). The NPC photoresponse time and magnitude is found to be highly tunable by varying the nanowire diameter under controlled growth conditions. Using hysteresis characterization, we decouple the observed photoexcitation-induced hot electron trapping from conventional electric field-induced trapping to gain a fundamental insight into the interface trap states responsible for NPC. Furthermore, we demonstrate surface passivation without chemical etching which both enhances the field-effect mobility of the nanowires by approximately an order of magnitude and effectively eliminates the hot carrier trapping found to be responsible for NPC, thus restoring an "intrinsic" positive photoresponse. This opens pathways toward engineering semiconductor nanowires for novel optical-memory and photodetector applications.
