Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: Findings showed a notable statistical correlation between the neutralization titers and the IgG, IgM and IgA ELISA responses against the receptor-binding domain of the spike protein, confirming that antibodies against this portion of the virus spike protein are highly neutralizing and that the ELISA Receptor-Binding Domain-based assay can be used as a valid surrogate for theneutralization assay in laboratories that do not have biosecurity level-3 facilities.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, an ELISA using SARS-CoV-2 trimeric spike glycoprotein, with targeted detection of IgG, IgA and IgM (IgGAM) using serum and dried blood spots (DBS) from adults with mild or moderate disease.

35 citations

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: Clinical performance of Biolidics 2019-nCoV IgG/IgM Detection Kit is comparable to ELISA and was consistent across sample types, and may allow point-of-care and longitudinal self-testing for the presence of anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, a SARS-CoV-2 spike (S1) protein enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was developed to detect SARS CoV2-specific antibodies.

23 citations

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: A review article as mentioned in this paper describes the development of the classical lymphocyte transformation test (LTT) and its use in the context of drug allergy detection and summarizes the modifications which have been published over time.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors summarized the status of COVID-19 serology testing, discuss challenges, and provide future directions for improvement, as well as discuss the potential for improvement.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: The development of a robust tumor-derived EV enrichment method from human blood is demonstrated and is extendable to other known cancer-specific proteins expressed on EVs exuded from tumors.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, a trivalent nonreplicating rotavirus vaccine (NRRV) for parenteral administration consisting of the recombinant tetanus toxoid P2 CD4 epitope fused to a truncated VP8* fragment (P2-VP8*) was developed.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: Direct co-culture of live unmodified MSCs with freshly thawed pooled PBMCs gives a robust determination of immunosuppression by MSCS with unparalleled ease.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe the methodologies and clinical qualification of three SARS-CoV-2 endpoint assays, which are reproducibly precise, linear, and specific for SARS CoV2 antigens.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, the authors recapped the mechanistic principles and methodological issues of the enzyme-linked immunospot (ELISpot) assay in the context of drug hypersensitivity reactions.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: Alg-SLN conjugate has a better ability to stimulate the immune system to produce more immunoglobulins with better performance compared to alginate antigen alone, and therefore it can be considered as a candidate for a strong vaccine against P. aeruginosa.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, the authors highlight the use of the basophil activation test (BAT) and mast cell activation tests (MAT) as diagnostics in immediate drug hypersensitivity reactions (IDHRs).

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compared different protocols for the generation of human mast cells from peripheral blood progenitors and found that four weeks of culture with IL-6 is sufficient to generate sizeable numbers of human MCs from blood progensitors, thereby enabling simultaneous exploration of allergen-specific sIgE/FceRI crosslinking and non-specific activation via MRGPRX2.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, the cross-platform concordance of immune-related gene expression data was assessed across three panels in two platforms: Nanostring nCounter® PanCancer Immune Profiling Panel (nS), HTG EdgeSeq Oncology Biomarker Panel (HTG OBP), and Precision Immuno-Oncology Panel (Hierarchical Cluster Analysis) for all 52 patients.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, the presence of autoantibodies in acute COVID-19 and the association with early laboratory findings was investigated by indirect immunofluorescence (IIF) method.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, the authors focus on delayed hypersensitivity reactions (DHRs) and use lymphocyte transformation test (LTT), cytokine/mediator detection assays (i.e. ELISA and flow cytometry-based bead assays), multiplex bead-based immunoassay and ELISpot.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, the authors use the essentially irreversible biotin-streptavidin interaction to produce magnetic beads that are labeled at distinct levels of fluorescence for protein-ligand interactions.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: Results indicate that non-proteinaceous, HNE-like structural moiety was part of the antigen for FerAb, although the binding profiles of FerAb to ferroptotic cells were different from those of the currently available anti-HNE antibody.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: It is found that isolation of Tregs from Bl/6 Foxp3EGFP mice solely based on eGFP expression resulted in sufficiently pure cells; co-sorting of CD25hi cells was not essential and expansion with rapamycin reduced Treg expansion, which promoted maximal in vitro suppressive activity.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated analytical and diagnostic performance of 8 (semi-quantitative assays detecting anti-nucleocapsid IgG (Euroimmun, Id-Vet) or total Ig (Roche), anti-spike protein IgG(EuroIMmun, Theradiag, DiaSorin, Thermo Fisher) or both (Theradiag) and 2 rapid lateral flow assays (LFA) (AAZ-LMB and Theradiags).
