Journal ArticleDOI

3-(3-Chloro-benzo-yl)-4-hydr-oxy-2H-1,2-benzothia-zine 1,1-dioxide.

TL;DR: In this article, the C15H10ClNO4S ring adopts a half-chair conformation with the S and N atoms displaced by 0.476 and 0.227, respectively, on opposite sides of the mean plane formed by the remaining ring atoms.
Journal ArticleDOI

Design and synthesis of a cyclitol-derived scaffold with axial pyridyl appendages and its encapsulation of the silver(I) cation

TL;DR: Conversion of a myo-inositol derivative into a scyllo- inositol-derived scaffold with C 3 v symmetry bearing three axial pyridyl appendages allows complexation of silver(I) through pre-organized hexadentate ligand.
Journal ArticleDOI

Suppression of regucalcin mRNA expression in the hearts of rats administered with free radical compound: the administration-induced death is accelerated in regucalcin transgenic rats.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the death of regucalcin TG rats is accelerated after the administration of free radical compound, indicating that overexpression of regucaalcin does not have effects as the suppressor for free radical stress and the scavenger for freeradical in rats.
Journal ArticleDOI

Physicochemical Characterization of Tretinoin Tocoferil Emulsion and Povidone-Iodine Sugar Ointment Blend Developed for Improved Regulation of Wound Moisture

TL;DR: TR-PI75 can be used to promote formation of favorable granulation tissue in pressure ulcers with moderate exudates and may have superior performance in keeping the moist environment in wounds and in preventing infection.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and pharmacological studies of new pyrazole analogues of podophyllotoxin.

TL;DR: The pyrazole analogues of podophyllotoxin were synthesized by the chalcone route and showed very good activity against screened bacteria and fungi compared to their standard.

Kinetic modeling on drug release from controlled drug delivery systems.

TL;DR: The mathematical modeling can ultimately help to optimize the design of a therapeutic device to yield information on the efficacy of various release models.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dietary phenolics: chemistry, bioavailability and effects on health.

TL;DR: This review summarizes the chemistry, biosynthesis and occurrence of the compounds involved, namely the C6-C3-C6 flavonoids-anthocyanins, dihydrochalcones, Flavan-3-ols, flavanones, flavones, Flavonols and isoflavones, and the mechanisms underlying these processes are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Amide bond formation: beyond the myth of coupling reagents

TL;DR: This critical review is focussed on the most recently developed coupling reagents with particular attention paid to the pros and cons of the plethora of "acronym" based reagents.
Journal ArticleDOI

Facile Discrimination of Aldose Enantiomers by Reversed-Phase HPLC

TL;DR: The reaction was applied to the determination of absolute configuration the sugar residues of an aroma precursor and direct HPLC analysis of the reaction mixture and UV detection at 250 nm discriminated D- and L-enantiomers of aldoses.
