The Democratic Prospects of Network Governance

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors consider the democratic implications of the shift toward policy making and implementation through networks, integrating articles presented at a 2003 conference on democratic network governance, and argue that the effect of increased cross-sectoral and civil society involvement in governing has been to stretch liberal democratic processes to comprise greater numbers of actors involved in lateral network relationships.

Institutions, entrepreneurship, and economic growth in Europe
TL;DR: In this article, a parsimonious growth model was proposed to evaluate the impact of institutions on entrepreneurship and the effects of entrepreneurship on economic growth using a 3SLS specification, and the authors showed that institutions have a decisive impact on the prevalence and nature of entrepreneurship.
