Numerical simulation of nitrogen oxide formation in lean premixed turbulent H2/O2/N2 flames

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigate the impact of local enrichment on the formation of nitrogen oxides in lean premixed hydrogen flames and show that the predominant path taken to convert nitrogen gas to nitric oxide is via NNH.
Journal ArticleDOI

Modeling of the Reburning Process

TL;DR: It was found that detailed kinetic modeling is essential to attain a satisfactory description of the reburning process and the obtained results show that these reacting systems exhibit apparent time constants which depend strongly on the fluid dynamics of the reactor.
