Decomposition of nitrous oxide at medium temperatures

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied the thermal decomposition of N{sub 2}O at atmospheric pressure and in a temperature range of 600-1,000 C. The experimental results were discussed using a detailed chemistry model.

Formation of NO from N2/O2 Mixtures in a Flow Reactor: Toward an Accurate Prediction of Thermal NO

TL;DR: In this paper, a detailed chemical model was used to determine the rate constant for the reaction N2 + O ⇌ NO + N (R1), with an error limit of ± 30%.

Application of ultra-low NOx emission control for CFB boilers based on theoretical analysis and industrial practices

TL;DR: In this article, a low NOx emission (de-NOx) technology applied to CFB boilers was proposed to reduce the NOx emissions by decreasing the average size of bed materials, limestone included, and increasing the solid circulating rate.

Laser-based flame species profile measurements: A comparison with flame model predictions

TL;DR: In this article, two laser-based diagnostic methods, resonanceenhanced multiphoton ionization (REMPI) and laser-induced fluorescence (LIF), were used for relative concentration measurements of seven species, O, H, OH, CH, CO, HCO, and CH 3, in low pressure stoichiometric methane oxygen, ethylene oxygen, and ethane oxygen premixed hydrocarbon flames.

Carbon dioxide diluted methane/oxygen combustion in a rapidly mixed tubular flame burner

TL;DR: In this article, the Damkohler number was examined to discuss the criterion for the establishment of stable tubular flame, and it was found that stable flame can be obtained for D a D a ǫ ≥ 1 due to formation of diffusion flames near the fuel slits.
