Hydrogen Addition Effects on Methane-Air Colorless Distributed Combustion Flames

TL;DR: In this article, the role of hydrogen addition in a reverse flow configuration, consisting of both non-premixed and premixed combustion modes, has been examined for the CDC flames, and the results are presented on the global flame signatures, exhaust emissions, and radical emissions using experiments and flowfield using numerical simulations.

Combustion and exhaust emission characteristics, and in-cylinder gas composition, of hydrogen enriched biogas mixtures in a diesel engine

TL;DR: In this article, the in-cylinder NOx levels were observed to be higher in the region between the sprays as compared to within the spray core, attributable to higher gas temperatures reached, post ignition, in that region.
