Abstract
A detailed linear survey of stellar models intended to represent dwarf Cepheids and delta Scuti stars has been calculated. Growth rates, periods, and other parameters for the first six radial modes are given for models with X=0.7,Z=0.005, and masses ranging from 0.2M/sub sun/ to 2.0M/sub sun/. A complete survey is also presented for the case X=0.7,Z=0.02M=2.0M/sub sun/. Although no mass or mode is excluded, observations are consistent with the simple assumption of post-mainsequence, Population I evolutionary phase in nearly every case (including period ratios). The fourth and fifth overtones are found to be the most unstable modes in most cases; these modes exhibit both blue and red edges consistent with the observed instability strip. The higher-mass models show a pulsational driving zone at 1.5 x 10/sup 5/ K in addition to the usual driving zones at the 1.2 x 10/sup 4/ K (H) and at 5.2 x 10/sup 4/ K (He). This additional driving is generated by an opacity bump due to the second helium ionization edge, and is shown to be most effective in models with small central condensation.

Asteroseismic measurement of surface-to-core rotation in a main-sequence A star, KIC 11145123

TL;DR: In this paper, rotationally split core and surface p-mode triplets and quintuplets were discovered in a terminal age main-sequence A star, KIC 11145123, that shows both δ Sct pmode pulsations and γ Dor g-mode pulsations.

Amplitude modulation in δ Sct stars: statistics from an ensemble study of Kepler targets

TL;DR: The results of a search for amplitude modulation of pulsation modes in 983 δ Sct stars, which have effective temperatures between 6400 ≤ Teff ≤ 10 000 K in the Kepler Input Catalogue and were continuously observed by the Kepler Space Telescope for 4 years, were presented in this paper.

Contributing factors to flux changes in nonradial stellar pulsations

TL;DR: In this article, a linearized analytic representation of observed flux changes due to nonradial pulsations is examined under conditions applicable to a variety of pulsating star types, and Histograms are presented as a function of l, documenting the relative importance of local temperature, geometry, pressure, and limb-darkening variations.

Asteroseismic modelling of the two F-type hybrid pulsators KIC 10080943A and KIC 10080943B

TL;DR: In this article, a model that is able to predict the observed g-mode period spacings and stellar parameters of both components of KIC(10080943) is presented.
