TLDR
In this article, 15 chondrites, including eight carbonaceous chondites, were analyzed for rare earth element abundances by isotope dilution, and the persistence of anomalies in chondritic materials relatively removed from direct condensational processes implies that anomalous components were introduced at a late stage of chondrite formation.

Cryptic sub-ice geology revealed by a U-Pb zircon study of glacial till in Dronning Maud Land, East Antarctica

TL;DR: In this article, the authors targeted the southern side of the Dronning Maud Land (DML) mountains in search of moraine material that might reveal the geology in the ice-covered region of the East Antarctic polar plateau.

Successive deformation episodes along the Lungmu Co zone, west-central Tibet

TL;DR: In this article, thermochronology and geochemistry of the east Lungmu Co (LMC) range highlight some of the geological events that shaped western Tibet and relate to the reactivation of the LMC suture zone as a thrust at the onset of the India-Eurasia collision.

Icp‐ms determination of 45 trace elements in whole coal using microwave oven acid digestion for sample preparation

TL;DR: The microwave oven acid digestion technique has been routinely applied to the ICP-MS multielement analysis of whole powdered coal as discussed by the authors, which results in quantitative and reproducible recovery of more than 40 trace elements with minimum digestion time, minimum use of reagents and minimal operator attendance.

Origin and Evolution of the Formation of the Cameroon Nyong Series in the Western Border of the Congo Craton

TL;DR: The Nyong series at Edea and Eseka area is located in the western edge of the Congo Craton and comprise three distinguish rock units namely: metasedimentary rocks unit (schists, garnet-rich micaschist); meta- igneous rocks unit as mentioned in this paper.

Synthesis of the Elements in Stars

TL;DR: In this article, a count of the stable and radioactive elements and isotopes is given, and Table I,1 shows that only promethium has not been found in nature, whereas 99 elements are found terrestrially and technetium is found in stars.

Determination of REE, Ba, Fe, Mg, Na and K in carbonaceous and ordinary chondrites

TL;DR: In this paper, the exact determination of REE and Ba abundances in three carbonaceous (Orgueil Cl, Murchison C2 and Allende C3) and seven olivine-bronzite chondrites were carried out by mass spectrometric isotope dilution technique.

A chemical-petrologic classification for the chondritic meteorites.

TL;DR: In this article, a two-dimensional classification grid based on chemical and petrologic subdivisions of chondritic meteorites is proposed, which extends the current chemical subdivisions to account for varying petrolic (implied metamorphic) properties within the primary chemical groups.
