TLDR
In this article, 15 chondrites, including eight carbonaceous chondites, were analyzed for rare earth element abundances by isotope dilution, and the persistence of anomalies in chondritic materials relatively removed from direct condensational processes implies that anomalous components were introduced at a late stage of chondrite formation.

The cretaceous Ladakh arc of NW himalaya—slab melting and melt-mantle interaction during fast northward drift of Indian Plate

TL;DR: A geochemical study of the mid-Cretaceous lavas of the Ladakh side of the arc sequence, which were erupted in response to northward subduction of Neo-Tethys oceanic crust, is presented in this article.

Middle Cretaceous back-arc formation and arc evolution along the Asian margin: the Shyok Suture Zone in northern Ladakh (NW Himalaya)

TL;DR: In this article, the Shyok Suture Zone of the Ladakh palaeovolcanic arc is made of Cretaceous volcanosedimentary formations intruded by granodioritic plutons, and field observations show a tectonic stacking of litho-units from different volcanic arc and back-arc environments.

Combined mantle plume-island arc model for the formation of the 2.9 ga sumozero-kenozero greenstone belt, se baltic shield: isotope and trace element constraints

TL;DR: The Sumozero-Kenozero greenstone belt in the SE Baltic Shield is ∼400 km long and up to 50 km wide and includes two main units with a total thickness of ∼5 km as discussed by the authors.

The association of continental crust rocks with ophiolites in the Northern Apennines (Italy): implications for the continent-ocean transition in the Western Tethys

TL;DR: The Late Cretaceous sedimentary melanges from the External Liguride Units of the Northern Apennines include large slide-blocks of ophiolites and lower and upper continental crust rocks representative of a continent-ocean transition between the Internal Liguralide oceanic domain and the thinned continental margin of the Adria plate as mentioned in this paper.

Synthesis of the Elements in Stars

TL;DR: In this article, a count of the stable and radioactive elements and isotopes is given, and Table I,1 shows that only promethium has not been found in nature, whereas 99 elements are found terrestrially and technetium is found in stars.

Determination of REE, Ba, Fe, Mg, Na and K in carbonaceous and ordinary chondrites

TL;DR: In this paper, the exact determination of REE and Ba abundances in three carbonaceous (Orgueil Cl, Murchison C2 and Allende C3) and seven olivine-bronzite chondrites were carried out by mass spectrometric isotope dilution technique.

A chemical-petrologic classification for the chondritic meteorites.

TL;DR: In this article, a two-dimensional classification grid based on chemical and petrologic subdivisions of chondritic meteorites is proposed, which extends the current chemical subdivisions to account for varying petrolic (implied metamorphic) properties within the primary chemical groups.
