Unified cosmic history in modified gravity: from F(R) theory to Lorentz non-invariant models

TLDR

Modified Gravity and Cosmology

TL;DR: A comprehensive survey of recent work on modified theories of gravity and their cosmological consequences can be found in this article, where the authors provide a reference tool for researchers and students in cosmology and gravitational physics, as well as a selfcontained, comprehensive and up-to-date introduction to the subject as a whole.
Journal ArticleDOI

Extended Theories of Gravity

TL;DR: Extended Theories of Gravity as discussed by the authors can be considered as a new paradigm to cure shortcomings of General Relativity at infrared and ultraviolet scales, which is an approach that, by preserving the undoubtedly positive results of Einstein's theory, is aimed to address conceptual and experimental problems recently emerged in astrophysics, cosmology and High Energy Physics.

Modified gravity theories on a nutshell: Inflation, bounce and late-time evolution

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors systematically review some standard issues and also the latest developments of modified gravity in cosmology, emphasizing on inflation, bouncing cosmology and late-time acceleration era.
Journal ArticleDOI

$f(R,T)$ gravity

TL;DR: In this article, the authors considered a modified theory of gravity, where the gravitational Lagrangian is given by an arbitrary function of the Ricci scalar and of the trace of the stress-energy tensor.

Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) Three Year Results: Implications for Cosmology

TL;DR: In this article, a simple cosmological model with only six parameters (matter density, Omega_m h^2, baryon density, BH 2, Hubble Constant, H_0, amplitude of fluctuations, sigma_8, optical depth, tau, and a slope for the scalar perturbation spectrum, n_s) was proposed to fit the three-year WMAP temperature and polarization data.
