TL;DR: In this article, the authors explored the genetic determinants of momilactone B sensitivity in yeast to gain insight into its mode of action, and found that increased expression of pmd1, bfr1, pap1, arp9, or SPAC9E9.06c conferred resistance to the drug.

Genetic Profiling of Protein Burden and Nuclear Export Overload

TL;DR: Genetic profiling of protein burden was performed by systematic analysis of genetic interactions between GFP-op, surveying both deletion mutants of nonessential genes and temperature-sensitive mutants of essential genes, in the budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae and suggested that this protein probe overloads the proteasome.
