Journal ArticleDOI

Ex vivo expansion of human CD8 + T cells using autologous CD4 + T cell help

TL;DR: It is suggested that human CD4+ T cell help can be leveraged to expand CD8+ T cells in vitro, and an in vitro model that advances the understanding of the immunobiology of human CD3 monoclonal antibody OKT3 as well as other immune accessory molecules is developed.
Journal ArticleDOI

ALK fusion gene positive lung cancer and 3 cases treated with an inhibitor for ALK kinase activity.

TL;DR: The ALK inhibitor presented in this study is effective in EML4-ALK NSCLC cases and advanced disease with this fusion gene was correlated with younger generation, and almost all the multiple bone and lymph node metastases quickly disappeared.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mediation by the protein-tyrosine kinase Tec of signaling between the B cell antigen receptor and Dok-1.

TL;DR: The results suggest that Tec is an important mediator of signaling from the BCR to Dok-1, and this effect required both the Tec homology and Src homology 2 domains of Tec in addition to its kinase activity.
Journal ArticleDOI

β2-Microglobulin Identified as an Apoptosis-Inducing Factor and Its Characterization

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that β2m plays a previously unrecognized and important role in regulating the elimination of tumor cells, which occurs as a result of the action ofβ2m as an apoptosis-inducing factor.
Journal ArticleDOI

Identification of transforming activity of free fatty acid receptor 2 by retroviral expression screening.

TL;DR: Data here implicate FFAR2 in carcinogenesis of the digestive tract for the first time, with the use of a retroviral cDNA expression library constructed from a surgically resected clinical specimen of GBC.
