Journal ArticleDOI

Generating black holes in $4D$ Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity

TL;DR: In this article, the authors prove a theorem that characterizes a large family of nonstatic or radiating spherically symmetric solutions to the 4D EGB gravity, representing, in general, spheric symmetric type II fluid.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Experiments with a steady hand robot in constrained compliant motion and path following

TL;DR: Detecting lines and simple curves by processing images from an endoscope mounted on the robot, this work traverses these curves autonomously, under direct user control, and in an augmented mode of user control to reduce errors in path traversal.
Journal ArticleDOI

Brain putamen volume changes in newly-diagnosed patients with obstructive sleep apnea

TL;DR: Global and regional putamen volumes were significantly higher in the OSA subjects, but local sites showed both higher and lower volumes, which may reflect a stage in progression of injury in these newly-diagnosed patients toward the overall volume loss found in patients with chronic OSA.
Journal Article

A community-based rheumatic fever/rheumatic heart disease cohort: twelve-year experience.

TL;DR: A rheumatic fever/rheumatic heart disease control program can be sustained within the primary health care system and the case registry can be utilized not only for monitoring the program but also to gain insight into the epidemiology of the disease.
Journal ArticleDOI

Theory of Anomalous Diffusion Impedance of Realistic Fractal Electrode

TL;DR: In this article, a theory for the anomalous admittance and the constant phase angle behavior of an irregular interface operating under diffusion controlled charge-transfer condition was developed, where the power spectrum of a surface fractal is approximated in terms of a power law function for the intermediate wave numbers.
