TL;DR: The allele frequency estimation made by real-time PCR with allele-specific primers had the smallest median deviation from the real allele frequency with 1.12% and was also the cheapest method, but this method required the most time for optimization and showed the highest variation between replicates.

TL;DR: Many of the new compounds reported here showed low nM inhibitory action against hCA II, IV, and IX, isoforms involved in glaucoma and some tumours, making them interesting candidates for further medicinal chemistry/pharmacologic studies.

Development of morphine dependence in rats: lack of effect of previous ingestion of other drugs.
TL;DR: Ingestion of alcohol, amylobarbitone, chlordiazepoxide, cocaine or dexamphetamine did not affect the eventual development of dependence when solutions of morphine were substituted at a later stage, although the avoidance of dexamphetamine seemed to temporarily transfer to morphine.
