PET/CT colonography: a novel non-invasive technique for assessment of extent and activity of ulcerative colitis

TL;DR: PET/CT colonography is a novel non-invasive technique for the assessment of extent and activity of the disease in patients with UC and shows a good correlation for extent evaluation between the two modalities.
Journal ArticleDOI

Role of FDG PET-CT in detecting recurrence in patients with uterine sarcoma: comparison with conventional imaging

TL;DR: FDG PET-CT is a highly sensitive and specific modality for detecting recurrence in posttherapy patients with uterine sarcoma, however, it provides no significant advantage over conventional imaging for this purpose.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ameliorative potential of whey protein hydrolysate against paracetamol-induced oxidative stress.

TL;DR: It is concluded that WPH is the potential protector against paracetamol-induced hepato-nephrotoxicity and can be effectively used in health-promoting foods as a biofunctional ingredient.
Journal ArticleDOI

Long-term fertilization and manuring with different organics alter stability of carbon in colloidal organo-mineral fraction in soils of varying clay mineralogy

TL;DR: Approximation of the effect of thirty-one years of continuous fertilization and manuring with different organics on C-stability in COMF extracted from an Inceptisol, a Vertisol, an Mollisol, and an Alfisol and NPK emerged as the best management practices for higher stabilization of C inCOMF for long-term C sequestration.
Journal ArticleDOI

Transforming growth factor β1 enhances expression of 50 kDa protein related to 2′-5′ oligoadenylate synthetase in human sperm cells

TL;DR: Results indicate that TGF‐β1 enhances expression of a 50 kDa protein related to 2–5(A)synthetase in human sperm cells along with other minor proteins, and this increase does not affect sperm motility and SPA.
