Search for displaced vertices of oppositely charged leptons from decays of long-lived particles in pp collisions at s=13 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2926 more
- 10 Feb 2020 -
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for long-lived particles decaying into an oppositely charged lepton pair, mu mu, ee, or e mu, is presented using 32.8 fb(-1) of pp collision data collected at root s = 13 TeV by the ATLAS.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of top quark pair differential cross sections in the dilepton channel in pp collisions at √s=7 and 8 TeV with ATLAS

Morad Aaboud, +2901 more
- 11 Nov 2016 -
TL;DR: In this article, normalized differential cross-sections of top quark pair production are presented as a function of the mass, the transverse momentum and the rapidity of the $t\bar t$ system in proton-proton collisions at center-of-mass energies of 7 TeV and 8 TeV.
Journal ArticleDOI

A search for the Zγ decay mode of the Higgs boson in pp collisions at s=13 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2929 more
- 10 Oct 2020 -
TL;DR: In this article, a search for the Z gamma decay of the Higgs boson, with Z boson decays into pairs of electrons or muons, was presented, using proton-proton collision data at root s = 13 TeV corresponding...
Journal ArticleDOI

The ATLAS Data Acquisition and Trigger: Concept, design and status

Kostantinos Kordas, +191 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present the base-line design and implementation of the ATLAS Trigger and Data Acquisition system, in particular the Data Flow and High Level Trigger components, and the status of the installation and commissioning of the system is also presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study of D* (2010)± production in ep collisions at HERA

M. Derrick, +451 more
- 13 Apr 1995 -
TL;DR: The first observation of charmed mesons with the ZEUS detector at HERA using the decay channel D ∗+ → (D 0 → K − π + )π + (+c.c.) was reported in this article, where clear signals in the mass difference ΔM(D ∗ )−M( D 0 ) as well as in the M(Kπ) distribution at the D0 mass are found.
