Immune Contexture, Immunoscore, and Malignant Cell Molecular Subgroups for Prognostic and Theranostic Classifications of Cancers.

TL;DR: The description and the understanding of the immune and inflammatory landscape in human tumors are of paramount importance and completes the mutational, transcriptional, and epigenetic patterns of the malignant cells and open paths to understand how tumor cells shape their immune microenvironment and are shaped by the immune reaction.
Journal Article

Interleukin-18: biological properties and clinical implications

TL;DR: This review summarizes the recent advances in the understanding of IL-18 structure, processing, receptor expression and immunoregulatory functions, and focuses on the role ofIL-18 modulation in tumours, infections, and autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
Journal ArticleDOI

The high frequency of Complement Factor H-Related CFHR1 Gene Deletion is restricted to specific subgroups of patients with atypical Haemolytic Uraemic Syndrome

TL;DR: The results suggest that the CFHR1 deletion plays a secondary role in susceptibility to aHUS, restricted to the subgroups of patients presenting with anti-FH autoantibodies or, to a lesser degree, CFI mutation.
