Journal ArticleDOI
The adaptive immunologic microenvironment in colorectal cancer: a novel perspective.
TL;DR: Evidence is obtained that the type, density, and location of immune cells in colorectal cancer could provide a prognostic factor superior and independent to that of criteria related to the anatomic extent of the tumor.
Journal ArticleDOI
Profound Coordinated Alterations of Intratumoral NK Cell Phenotype and Function in Lung Carcinoma
Sophia Platonova,Julien Cherfils-Vicini,Diane Damotte,Lucile Crozet,Vincent Vieillard,Pierre Validire,Pascale Andre,Marie-Caroline Dieu-Nosjean,Marco Alifano,Jean-François Regnard,Wolf H. Fridman,Catherine Sautès-Fridman,Isabelle Cremer +12 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that the NSCLC tumor microenvironment locally impairs NK cells, rendering them less tumorcidal and thereby supportive to cancer progression.
Journal ArticleDOI
Regulation of high-affinity IgE receptor-mediated mast cell activation by murine low-affinity IgG receptors.
TL;DR: It is reported here that IgE-induced release of mediator and cytokine can be inhibited by cross-linking Fc epsilon RI to low-affinity IgG receptors (Fc gamma RII) which are constitutively expressed on mast cells and basophils which are of potential interest in mast cell physiology and in allergic pathology.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tertiary lymphoid structures in cancer and beyond
Marie-Caroline Dieu-Nosjean,Marie-Caroline Dieu-Nosjean,Jeremy Goc,Jeremy Goc,Nicolas A. Giraldo,Nicolas A. Giraldo,Catherine Sautès-Fridman,Catherine Sautès-Fridman,Wolf H. Fridman,Wolf H. Fridman +9 more
TL;DR: Evidence for the roles of TLS in chronic infection, autoimmunity, and cancer, and the question of whether TLS present beneficial or deleterious effects in these contexts are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: A critical, integrated classification of anticancer immunotherapies is proposed and the clinical relevance of these approaches is discussed.
