TL;DR: In this article, the authors provide an overview of some important investigations performed on the development of efficient electrocatalysts in the presence of alkaline solutions, which must encounter different characteristics such as low overpotential for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), good catalytic activity, high stability and low cost.

TL;DR: Different partial discharge detection and measurement procedures suitable for use on cables, capacitors, transformers and rotating machines are examined and compared in this paper, with particular attention given in regard to their suitability to different types of electrical apparatus and cable specimens under test as well as their applicability to discharge site location and their capability to detect different forms of PD.
Abstract: Different partial discharge (PD) detection and measurement procedures suitable for use on cables, capacitors, transformers and rotating machines are examined and compared. Both narrow and wide bandwidth PD detectors are considered; particular attention is given in regard to their suitability to different types of electrical apparatus and cable specimens under test as well as their applicability to discharge site location and their capability to detect different forms of PD. A rather substantial portion of the discussion is devoted to the use of intelligent machines as applied to PD pattern recognition in terms of either PD pulse-height/discharge epoch (phase) distributions or discharge pulse shape attributes.

23 Apr 1997TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed transition-metal compounds having the ordered-olivine, a modified olivine, or the rhombohedral NASICON structure and the polyanion (PO 4 ) 3− as at least one constituent for use as electrode material for alkali-ion rechargeable batteries.
Abstract: The invention relates to materials for use as electrodes in an alkali-ion secondary (rechargeable) battery, particularly a lithium-ion battery. The invention provides transition-metal compounds having the ordered-olivine, a modified olivine, or the rhombohedral NASICON structure and the polyanion (PO 4 ) 3− as at least one constituent for use as electrode material for alkali-ion rechargeable batteries.

TL;DR: In this paper, a new simulation tool named EMTP-RV is presented, which uses a new matrix formulation for computing load-flow, steady state and time-domain solutions and an open-architecture graphical user interface (GUI) is developed to maximize flexibility and allow creating and maintaining complex designs.
