TL;DR: A new mesoporous Ta oxide catalyst for conversion of dinitrogen to ammonia shows strong evidence for a novel mechanism involving low valent Ta on the surface, supporting recent work in organometallic chemistry usingLow valent early transition metals for dinitrogens cleavage.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used rounded granular material of glaciofluvial origin from local gravel pits to protect 55 km of riverbank on the Ottawa River from erosion between 1992 and 1998.

TL;DR: The long-term effectiveness of metal deactivation, oil change, and chemical treatment for dibenzyl-disulphide in mineral insulating oils was examined and compared in this article.
Abstract: Over the last decade, dibenzyl-disulphide was found to be present in a large number of mineral insulating oils. This sulfur compound tends to react with the copper of the windings, forming harmful byproducts, such as Cu2 S. Different techniques to overcome the problem, including metal deactivation, oil change, and chemical treatment, have been applied. The long-term effectiveness of these techniques is examined and compared.

TL;DR: In this paper, the role of adhesion between the interfacial layer and the lithium metal in controlling lithium growth is often overlooked, and a simple solution process is developed to form conformal nanostructured LiAl interfacial layers on the lithium surface.

TL;DR: In this paper, a frequency spectrogram is calculated from the phase difference between each time slice of the Short Time Fourier Transform (STFT) and the reference frequency for each component, which shows the drift on the instantaneous frequency of each spectral component.
