TL;DR: In this paper, a vacuum reflectometer for the UV and VUV spectral range was developed for qualification of optical components below 400 nm, which allows reflecting, transmitting power as well as scattered or diffracted flux measurements (gratings efficiency measurements) until 25 nm.
Abstract: A vacuum reflectometer for the UV and VUV spectral range was developed for qualification of optical components below 400 nm. Typical performances, in the 120-320 nm spectral range, of filters and mirrors offered by MATRA will be presented. Fitted with various gratings and sources this device allows reflecting, transmitting power as well as scattered or diffracted flux measurements (gratings efficiency measurements) until 25 nm.

TL;DR: In this paper, a mapping system takes data from n 2D images with differing views and each source is calibrated to estimate parameters of n models defining the relation between co-ordinates x,y,z of a point in the scene and co-coordinates (p,q)i of its projection in the image.
Abstract: A mapping system takes data from n two-dimensional images with differing views. Each source is calibrated to estimate parameters of n models Fi(x,y,z) defining the relation between co-ordinates x,y,z of a point in the scene and co-ordinates (p,q)i of its projection in the image. Each of n-1 pairs of images are aligned by seeking the homologue of each pixel in a reference image along a polar axis, establishing from the differences a curve to guide the final composition.

TL;DR: In this paper, a fixed-means holding element is used to connect two regions of the holding element to the mattress, and the fixing means are connected to the corresponding second regions of holding elements.
Abstract: In the case of a mattress provided with holding elements, a layer can be put on, which layer is provided with fixing means, the layer being removably attached to the mattress. The holding means comprise a long stretched-out, substantially longitudinally stable, flexible element, of which in each case two first regions are connected to the mattress, while second regions, situated in-between, are free. The respective spacing between two second regions is substantially constant; the fixing means are installed on the layer such that they each come to lie at a second region of the holding elements. The fixing means are connectible to the corresponding second regions of the holding elements. With this system, layers can be connected to the mattress in the simplest way.

TL;DR: In this article, a dielectric resonator filter is provided which includes at least one microwave resonator having a body member with a cylindrical conductive cavity of uniform diameter formed therein, symmetrically disposed about a longitudinal axis, the cavity being divided into two sections, of unequal lengths, by an integral inwardly projecting flange.
Abstract: A dielectric resonator filter is provided which includes at least one microwave resonator having a body member with a cylindrical conductive cavity of uniform diameter formed therein, symmetrically disposed about a longitudinal axis, the cavity being divided into two sections, of unequal lengths, by an integral inwardly projecting flange; a cylindrical dielectric resonator having a coefficient of thermal expansion to match that of the body member, the longitudinal axis of the resonator being co-axial with the longitudinal axis of the cavity; two cylindrical support members for supporting the dielectric resonator within the longer section of the cavity, the support members being of quartz and located one on each side of the dielectric resonator; and securing means for securing the two support members, with the dielectric resonator therebetween, within the cavity, one of the support members being in an abutting relationship with a surface of the inwardly projecting flange.
