13 Dec 1993TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose a method for generating a digital multiplex signal for broadcasting, where the multiplex is made up of packets of determined length coming from a plurality of sources by applying a treatment selected from those belonging to a catalog of stored treatments.
Abstract: The method is for generating a digital multiplex signal for broadcasting. The multiplex is made up of packets of determined length coming from a plurality of sources, by applying a treatment selected from those belonging to a catalog of stored treatments. It is applicable to D2-MAC/packet and digital TV. An encoder implementing the method has sources in which the identity of the treatment to be performed is inserted in a field provided for this purpose in each packet precursor. Downstream from the sources, the encoder comprises a treatment unit for decoding the field and for causing the treatment defined by the field to be applied.

08 Jun 2001TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a secure computer system for automatically running rail track systems, which includes at least one computer having a processor operating under the control of a program on input data that can be associated with a code and delivering output data for output members.
Abstract: The secure computer system comprises at least one computer having a processor operating under the control of a program on input data that can be associated with a code and delivering output data for output members. A security peripheral that is external but connected to the processor is provided to receive at least the input data codes, the operands, and the nature of the operation of each elementary operation performed by the processor, a code being calculated on each elementary operation performed by the processor in order to verify proper performance of all or part of the executed program. The system is applicable to processes for automatically running rail track systems.
