13 Sep 1994TL;DR: The GOMOS instrument as mentioned in this paper provides world-wide daily mapping of the ozone concentration by the observation of spectra attenuation of stars setting behind the atmosphere using a fixed Cassegrain telescope and mounted behind a steerable flat mirror.
Abstract: The GOMOS instrument will provide world-wide daily mapping of the ozone concentration by the observation of spectra attenuation of stars setting behind the atmosphere. The instrument optics consist of two spectrometers and two fast photometers fed by a fixed Cassegrain telescope and mounted behind a steerable flat mirror.

15 Dec 2005TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a model for a packet switching data transmission network and a public telephone network, in which a station is started, the networks being interconnected via a call server.
Abstract: In a packet switching data transmission network on the one hand, and in a public telephone network on the other hand, a station ( 14 ) is started, the networks being interconnected via a call server ( 15 ). The transmission network comprises an administration server ( 11 ), a plurality of subnets administered by the administration server and a plurality of stations ( 14 ), each linked to a subnet. The administration server stores a respective location information for each subnet. A station emits a lease request ( 301 ), destined for the administration server. Then, the station receives from the administration server, in response to the lease request, a lease ( 302 ) containing the location information of the subnet of the station. Next, the station emits, destined for the call server, a registration request ( 304 ) comprising an identifier of the station as well as the location information. Then, on receipt of this request, the call server stores ( 305 ) in a call database a information associating the identifier of the station and the location information.

14 Sep 1994TL;DR: A dielectric resonator filter including at least one microwave resonator having a cylindrical conductive cavity symmetrically disposed about a longitudinal axis and an internally projecting flange is described in this article.
Abstract: A dielectric resonator filter including at least one microwave resonator having a cylindrical conductive cavity (1) symmetrically disposed about a longitudinal axis and an internally projecting flange (3); a cylindrical dielectric resonator element (4); and a ceramic support member (5) for the resonator element, the support member having a coefficient of thermal expansion to match that of the resonator element and being secured to the said internally projecting flange and adapted to support the resonator element in a spacial central position within the cavity whereby the longitudinal axes of the cavity and the resonator element are coaxial. The support member is in the form of a ceramic disc having a central aperture (6) within which the dielectric resonator is securely located at the periphery thereof, the shape of the aperture being such that the resonator element is secured to the support member at its low azimuthal field positions of the HEHII delta mode.
