TL;DR: In this paper, the impact of technological advances on the foreign exchange management and focus on transparency to determine exchange rates, transparency relates to how efficiently dealers can aggregate information in foreign exchange.
Abstract: The Information and Communication Technology and foreign exchange market is a vast subject. This Article considers the impact of technological advances on the foreign exchange management and focus on transparency to determine exchange rates, transparency relates to how efficiently dealers can aggregate information in foreign exchange. There are of course many other uses of information and communication technology (ICT) that have obviously influenced the markets like, it will focus on how to manage risk in Volatile condition of foreign exchange (Fx) rates with the help of technology and take appropriate decisions to avert risk and lead to profitability in the area of Marketing, Production and finance in international marketing.

TL;DR: A brief review on the internal construction of the AMI, recent pros and cons of AMI along with the new approach of the tripping mechanism to handle the preliminary faults in the power system intelligently is presented.
Abstract: In order to avoid the labour – cost, poor flexibility, reliability, accuracy and live tracking system; upgradation of traditional energy meter is required. Automatic Metering Interface (AMI) can be provided better billing accuracy, live energy consumption monitoring and economic power supply with the help of Zigbee, GSM based wireless and PLC based wired data transfer mode. This can be helpful to calculate the net amount of power transfer between suppliers and consumers with dynamic pricing through bidirectional communication system containing securely paired master slave mode during installation. AMI offers reliable protection and maintain the stability of power system with the preliminary fault detection through an inbuilt tripping circuit. This paper presents a brief review on the internal construction of the AMI, recent pros and cons of AMI along with the new approach of the tripping mechanism to handle the preliminary faults in the power system intelligently.

TL;DR: This chapter provides an in depth performance evaluation of Mobile WiMAX and WiFi under various Modulation and Coding Schemes (MCS), cyclic prefixes and different path-loss models under integrated environment.
Abstract: WIFI and WiMAX became popular worldwide due to simplicity of installation and cost reduction compared with traditional DSL cable. The key challenge of WiFi is the restricted mobility of the user whereas mobile WiMAX (IEEE 802.16m) provides ubiquitous environment to the user. The recent challenges of WiMAX is managing radio resources (both licensed and unlicensed) efficiently through different QoS service classes, implementing proper modulation and coding schemes at PHY, proper antenna selection in MIMO to achieve better QOS. User can avail the benefits of speed and mobility through an integrated architecture comprising WiFi and WiMAX. This chapter provides an in depth performance evaluation of Mobile WiMAX and WiFi under various Modulation and Coding Schemes (MCS), cyclic prefixes and different path-loss models under integrated environment. Moreover, we present an optimized adaptive modulation scheme that senses the SNR and adaptively switches to required MCS to achieve desired level of QoS and link stability.

TL;DR: A preliminary novelty attempt towards the design of Computer Display Board (CBD) with the support of Braille language to solve the problem of visionless persons using basic logic designs.
Abstract: Visionless persons find it very difficult to access the screen of computer and mobile. This article presents a preliminary novelty attempt towards the design of Computer Display Board (CBD) with the support of Braille language to solve the problem. Using basic logic designs the system converts computer screen information to Braille Computer Display Board (CBD) signals. A microchip design approach is undertaken in place of the complicated logic circuit to solve the problem. Synchronization table formed towards the implementation of English Digits and Alphabets to Braille Language is established. Simulation based experimental result analysis implemented in this paper with VHDL result considering the word “I LOVE INDIA”. The entire process of the designed prototype is presented for Computer Display Board (CBD). This attempted research article strives to facilitate a cyber-communication facility for visionless people.

TL;DR: This work aims to identify the immediate change in the ANS activity because of smoking using HRV analysis, and suggested that smoking reduced the parasympathetic activity, thereby suggesting the alteration in the AnS activity.
Abstract: Over the past few decades, the heart rate variability (HRV) analysis has gained importance as a noninvasive technique for understanding the autonomic nervous system (ANS) activity. The work presented in this paper aims to identify the immediate change in the ANS activity because of smoking using HRV analysis. The ECG signals were collected from 17 male volunteers before and after smoking. The RR intervals (RRIs) were extracted and subjected to HRV analysis, resulting in the extraction of 29 HRV parameters. Both linear and nonlinear methods were employed to detect the statistically important HRV parameters. The interpretation of the statistically important features suggested that smoking reduced the parasympathetic activity, thereby suggesting the alteration in the ANS activity. ANN classification of the statistically significant HRV parameters with accuracies ≥90% further evinced the alteration in the ANS activity.
