TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of insider ownership, institutional investor, dividen payments, and firm growth to corporate debt policy, using 42 manufacturing companies listed in Bursa Efek Jakarta during 1999-2002.
Abstract: The purpose of this research is to test the effect of insider ownership, institutional investor, dividen payments, and firm growth to corporate debt policy, using 42 manufacturing companies listed in Bursa Efek Jakarta during 1999-2002. The statistical method used in this research is multiple regression. Result indicate that all variables influence the debt policy simultaneously in the amount 29,4%. Individually, insider ownership variable does not have significant influence towards debt policy, then institutional earning, dividen payments, and firm growth variables have significant influence but towards debt policy.

TL;DR: ZLT provides better drug loading capacity than HTC, however, both ZLT and HTC are suitable for the formulation of controlled release products.
Abstract: Purpose: To evaluate the mechanism of drug release of a slightly soluble drug (theophylline) from nanocomposite of zeolite (ZLT) or hydrotalcite (HTC) used as drug carrier. Methods: Nanocomposite was prepared with dispersion of either ZLT or HTC as drug carrier and theophylline (THP) as drug in drug to clay ratios of 1:2, 3:4 and 1:1. The formulations were characterized for drug release and loading. Dependent and independent kinetic models were employed to analyze the drug release data. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) was used for the structural characterization of the formulations. Results: Nanocomposite was formed due to incorporation of the drug in the basal spacing of ZLT/HTC. The drug loading of THP/ZLT and THP/HTC composites were 38.10 % for 2 h and 27.35 % for 3 h, respectively. HTC and ZLT nanocomposite retarded drug release for 6 h. Non-linear and Peppas-Sahlin were the best fitting kinetic release models based on the goodness of fit. Conclusion: ZLT provides better drug loading capacity than HTC. However, both ZLT and HTC are suitable for the formulation of controlled release products. The drug release kinetics and mechanism were a combination of Fickian and non-Fickian diffusion. Keywords: Zeolite, Hydrotalcite, Clays, Nanocomposite, Theophylline, Drug Release Kinetics, Basal Spacing

TL;DR: In this article, the suitability of the physical and biological factors of green turtle nesting habitat and its relationship to the number of green turtles landed at each station were determined, and the results of the correlation analysis, the beach slope factor and the vegetation density factor have a very strong and significant relationship with the green turtles that landed, as evidenced by the relationship between the two variables.
Abstract: During the nesting season, green turtles have an instinct to return to their original place to lay their eggs. The success of turtle egg laying is influenced by the suitability of the beach for their nesting habitat which consists of physical and biological factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of the physical and biological factors of green turtle nesting habitat and its relationship to the number of green turtles landed at each station. The research method used is observation, the observation station is determined by purposive sampling, and the data analysis technique used is quantitative. The result is that physical and biological factors consisting of beach width and slope, sand texture and temperature, and vegetation at each landing station on Pangumbahan beach are still suitable as green turtle nesting sites except station 6. There were 47 green turtles that landed, and station 2 has the highest number of turtles landing, which is 16 turtles. Meanwhile, at station 6, no turtles landed. From the results of the correlation analysis, the beach slope factor and the vegetation density factor have a very strong and significant relationship with the number of turtles that landed. As for the other factors have a fairly - strong relationship. The conclusion is that all factors, both physical and biological factors from the beach, affect the number of green turtles that land, as evidenced by the relationship between the two variables.

TL;DR: The results showed that free chlorine oxidized the Cr(III) to Cr(VI), following the pseudo-first-order kinetics with half lifetimes of 3.0, 3.3 and 14.4 h at pH 5.4, if the hypochlorite concentration was maintained at 4 mg Cl dm(-3).
Abstract: The oxidation of Cr(III) at naturally-occurring concentration levels, i.e., μg dm or lower levels, by free chlorine during the chlorination process of tap water was studied using an improved solid-phase spectrophotometric method, which can be directly applicable to the specific determination of Cr(VI) at μg dm–3 or lower levels. The effect of the pH on the oxidation kinetics was investigated under three different pH conditions. The results showed that free chlorine oxidized the Cr(III) to Cr(VI), following the pseudo-first-order kinetics with half lifetimes of 3.0, 3.3 and 14.4 h at pH 5.0, 7.0 and 8.0, respectively, if the hypochlorite concentration was maintained at 4 mg Cl dm–3 .

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the reading habits of master degree students and its effect on their academic writing skill and concluded that reading was one of the important activities that had a great advantage to increase students writing skill.
Abstract: Nowadays, students centered became a popular strategy in English Language Teaching (ELT). Teacher preferred to become a facilitator in the learning activity. Thus, as the learner, students should do an activity that had a big effect on their learning process. Reading was one of the important activity that had a great advantage to increase students writing skill. They should take reading as their habitual activity to get a significant improvement of learning achievement. In the context of higher education, reading activity was a basic requirement to start an activity in academic work such as writing a scientific journal. Through reading, they could get new information from the text. Then, it could be synthesized, evaluated, and implicated as the prior knowledge or supporting information in their writing. The aim of this study was to examine the reading habit of master degree students’ and its effect on their academic writing skill. Twenty students from the master degree of Sebelas Maret University, Indonesia were selected to participate in the study. The data collected through an e-survey analyzed qualitatively. The finding indicated reading habit was crucial for students’ academic writing skill. Furthermore, the conclusion discussed the implication of the finding in relation with teaching advanced learner.
