Abstract: Antosianin merupakan zat warna yang bersifat polar bertanggung jawab untuk kebanyakan warna merah, biru, dan ungu. Dengan mikroenkapsulasi antosianin dapat terlindungi dari pengaruh lingkungan yang merugikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ratio kombinasi bahan penyalut terbaik dalam spray drying. Ekstrak daun jati dimikroenkapsulasi dengan penyalut maltodekstrin, karagenan, dan whey dengan proporsi total padatan ekstrak terhadap penyalut dengan rasio 3:10. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan satu faktor (ratio kombinasi penyalut maltodekstrin, kappa-karagenan dan whey) dengan 3 taraf yaitu (2:1:0, 2:0:1, dan 1:1:1). Variable respon yang diukur adalah randemen, kadar total antosianin, penangkapan radikal bebas, dan kualitas warna (L*a*b,oHue), kadar air, kelarutan dalam air, sisa pelarut (etanol) dan mikrostruktur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ratio kombinasi penyalut terbaik ditinjau dari nilai kadar antioksidan, kualitas warna L dan b, kadar air, serta mikrostruktur adalah mikroenkapsulan dengan ratio kombinasi penyalut maltodekstrin, karagenan, dan whey (MKW). ditinjau dari kadar antosianin, dan kelarutan dalam air adalah mikroenkapsulan dengan penyalut maltodekstrin dan whey (MW). Dan ditinjau dari randemen dan oHue adalah mikroenkapsulan dengan penyalut maltodekstrin dengan karagenan (MK). Mikroenkapsulan yang dihasilkan diharapkan dapat diaplikasikan dalam bahan pangan sebagai pewarna makanan alami dalam bentuk sediaan bubuk.

Abstract: In 2005, 264 pupils of 1000 households in Indonesia had suffer from mental disorder. Currently, the number of that people tends to increase, possibly related to the economic crisis and social problems. Unfortunately, the number of psyciatrists are still rare in Indonesia. The number of psychiatrists in 2010 is around 616 people. Therefore, Indonesia still requires a lot of experts to address and overcome the problem of mental disorder. By using an expert system, it can be addressed by a number of general doctor whose number 71.307 lives in 2010. An Expert System (ES) is a computer based information systems that use expert knowledge to attain high level decision performance in a narrowly defined problem domain. This means, by using an expert system a general doctor can solve the problem as if he or she is a psychiatrist. The issues raised in this research is how to make an expert system for mental disorders with Forward Chaining method. This expert system are built by acquiring expert's knowledge as its knowledge and by using MINI ICD-10 as the instrument. This expert system testing was performed by co-assistants where 100 patients were checked randomly who came to The Outpatient Clinic, Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National Referral Hospital. The testing validation were performed by the experts directly and indirectly by the patients' medical record (co-assistants did not know the patients diagnosis and history before). The accuracy value of this system is 96%, which is calculated by comparing expert system's result with the true value in the detection system with the number of tested patients diagnosed by phsyciatrists.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to develop DSSC based on TiO2/MnO2 composite film as working electrode. The working electrodes were prepared by the doctor blade method and their characteristics were investigated by using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and UV-Vis spectroscopy. Moreover, the performance of DSSCs was performed under simulated AM 1.5G solar illumination using 100 mW/cm2. The indirect band gap of TiO2 pure, TiO2/MnO2 and TiO2/MnO2 6% films are 3.29, 2.98 and 2.81 eV, respectively. The highest power conversion was 0.018 % which corresponds to TiO2/MnO2 6% composite film. The results suggest that the MnO2 added to the semiconductor TiO2 can improve the efficiency of the DSSCs.

Abstract: The method of Ti/TiO2-NiO photoelectrode prepared by using sol-gel method continued by calcination process was introduced. The prepared TiO2-NiO film was observed with XRD and TEM. The anatase-rutile TiO2 was mainly on the prepared TiO2-NiO composite surface electrode. In addition to NiO, the composite also formed NiTiO3 that increased with increasing calcination temperature. Photoelectrocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine B (RB) using this electrode was investigated, and anodic potential and pH were optimized. RB degradation was investigated under different conditions, and it showed that photoelectrocatalytic degradation could achieve efficient and complete mineralization of organic pollutant. Through comparison of the photoelectrocatalytic oxidation using the Ti/TiO2-NiO electrode operated by single photoanode with the Ti/TiO2-NiO electrode operated by several photoanode, it was found that the photoelectrocatalytic efficiency of that by series photoanodes was higher. Additionally, photoelectrocatalytic system was performed at the several different photoelectrodes, which verified the higher photocatalytic activity compared with the single photoelectrode.

Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPA Semester II SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 melalui penerapan model Discovery Learning pada pokok bahasan larutan penyangga Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan tiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 2 SMAN 1 Ngemplak tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 Sumber data adalah guru dan siswa Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, kajian dokumen, angket, dan tes, selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswa pada materi larutan penyangga Pada siklus I, persentase ketercapaian aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar 37% yang kemudian meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 77,78% Peningkatan prestasi belajar dilihat dari aspek kognitif pada siklus I mencapai 63% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 81%, dari aspek afektif persentase ketuntasan untuk siklus I sebesar 89% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 92,6% Sedangkan untuk prestasi belajar aspek psikomotorik hanya dilakukan pada siklus I dan memberikan hasil ketuntasan sebesar 81,48%
