TL;DR: Pengembangan kurikulum harus dilakukan secara cermat dengan prosedur ying tepat, serta memperhatikan kebutuhan masyarakat pengguna and perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan and teknologi (IPTEK) as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: Penyelenggaraan pendidikan yang bermutu mempersyaratkan tersedianya kurikukum yang baik.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the electrochemical properties of transition metal oxides and its composite with reduced graphene oxide (rGO) and found that low and high reduction extent TiOx with lower reduction extent delivered higher electroactivity and charge transfer resistance at the same time.
Abstract: Transition metal oxides are known as the active materials for capacitors. As a class of transition metal oxide, Magneli phase TiOx is particularly attractive because of its excellent conductivity. This work investigated the electrochemical characteristics of TiOx and its composite with reduced graphene oxide (rGO). Two types of TiOx, i.e. low and high reduction extent, were employed in this research. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy revealed that TiOx with lower reduction extent delivered higher electro-activity and charge transfer resistance at the same time. However, combining 10% of low-reduction state TiOx and rGO using a simple mixing process delivered a high specific capacitance (98.8 F g−1), which was higher than that of standalone rGO (49.5 F g−1). A further improvement in the specific capacitance (102.6 F g−1) was given by adding PEDOT:PSS conductive polymer. Results of this research gave a basic understanding in the electrochemical behavior of Magneli phase TiOx for the utilization of this material as supercapacitor in the future.

TL;DR: In this paper, a study aimed to determine the students' critical and creative thinking skills in the Islamic senior high schools of Surakarta City so that teachers can pay attention to the strength and weakness of each student based on gender differences.
Abstract: Critical and creative thinking skills are an essential attribute for success in the 21st century. This study aimed to determine the students’ critical and creative thinking skills in the Islamic senior high schools of Surakarta City so that teachers can pay attention to the strength and weakness of each student based on gender differences. This study used descriptive qualitative analysis. The subject of this study amounted to 180 students consisting of 80 male and 100 female students. The measurement of critical-thinking skills used a 6-essay-question instrument of the chemical material of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions that measures the aspects based on Facione theory, namely: analysis, inference, explanation, interpretation, evaluation, and self-regulation. Then, to measure creative-thinking skills, a 4-essay-question test instrument of the chemical material that includes 4 aspects according to Torrance, fluency, flexibility, original and elaboration, was used. The results showed that the creative-thinking skills of male students are better than those of female students and the critical-thinking skills of female students are better than those of male students.

TL;DR: This study aims to determine the diversity of dragonfly and damselfly (Odonata) in some water springs of Panekan sub- District, Magetan, East Java, with the assumption that the water source provides less pollutant.
Abstract: Pamungkas DW, Ridwan M. 2015. Diversity of dragonfly and damselfly (Odonata) in some water springs in Magetan, East Java. Pros Sem Nas Masy Biodiv Indon 1: 1295-1301. Dragonfly is an insect that plays an important role in the balance of the ecosystem, acting as predators. Most of Odonata’s life is in the water in form of larvae. Dragonfly occupies some specific habitat types of waters. This study aims to determine the diversity of dragonfly and damselfly (Odonata) in some water springs of Panekan sub- District, Magetan, East Java, with the assumption that the water source provides less pollutant. Expected specific species of dragonflies that occupy the habitat. The used method was the descriptive method by means of direct collection using insect nets to be identified. Collection sample used active exploration around the water spring to the vegetation formation. Based on the results, 19 species of Odonata was found including 10 species of (Anisoptera) and 9 species of damselflies (Zygoptera). Diversity index (H') of Odonata obtained 2,28 and relative abundance (KR) species Orthetrum sabina was the highest (29.4%), while the lowest was Orthetrum pruinosum (0.3%). Odonata including aggregated distribution, except for Diplacodes trivialis and Orthetrum pruinosum that had regular distribution.

TL;DR: In this article, a study was conducted to identify student's errors in doing story problems on fractions, both decimal fractions and usual fractions, involving students in grade 6 for twelve elementary schools.
Abstract: Based on the experiences, many teachers do not feel very successful in teaching story problems. On the other hand, many students find that story problems are one of the most difficult challenges in mathematics and do not like them. However, there has been no official report on the matter, at least in Indonesia. The purpose of the research is to identify student's errors in doing story problems on fractions, both decimal fractions and usual fractions. The research was conducted in Kota Surakarta, involving students in grade 6 for twelve elementary schools. Eight essay story problems on fractions were given to those students. Then, data about the student's errors in doing story problems were collected by looking over the student's work thoroughly. After analyzing the data, the research concluded that about half of the students did not answer story problems correctly. The data also revealed that story problems involving usual fractions were more difficult than story problems involving decimal fractions for the students. There was a trend that story problems which include complex calculation were more difficult than story problems which include simple calculation.
