TL;DR: In this paper, a magnetorheological elastomer (MRE) material composed of silicon rubber (SR) and 70 wt% of micron-sized carbonyl iron particles (CIP) was prepared and subjected to stress relaxation evaluation by torsional shear load.
Abstract: The widespread use of magnetorheological elastomer (MRE) materials in various applications has yet to be limited due to the fact that there are substantial deficiencies in current experimental and theoretical research on its microstructural durability behavior. In this study, MRE composed of silicon rubber (SR) and 70 wt% of micron-sized carbonyl iron particles (CIP) was prepared and subjected to stress relaxation evaluation by torsional shear load. The microstructure and particle distribution of the obtained MRE was evaluated by a field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). The influence of constant low strain at 0.01% is the continuing concern within the linear viscoelastic (LVE) region of MRE. Stress relaxation plays a significant role in the life cycle of MRE and revealed that storage modulus was reduced by 8.7%, normal force has weakened by 27%, and stress performance was reduced by 6.88% along approximately 84,000 s test duration time. This time scale was the longest ever reported being undertaken in the MRE stress relaxation study. Novel micro-mechanisms that responsible for the depleted performance of MRE was obtained by microstructurally observation using FESEM and in-phase mode of atomic force microscope (AFM). Attempts have been made to correlate strain localization produced by stress relaxation, with molecular deformation in MRE amorphous matrix. Exceptional attention was focused on the development of molecular slippage, disentanglement, microplasticity, microphase separation, and shear bands. The relation between these microstructural phenomena and the viscoelastic properties of MRE was diffusely defined and discussed. The presented MRE is homogeneous with uniform distribution of CIP. The most significant recent developments of systematic correlation between the effects of microstructural deformation and durability performance of MRE under stress relaxation has been observed and evaluated.

TL;DR: The electrochemical detection of free chlorine based on the reduction at a gold electrode has been studied in this paper, where the dif-======ferential pulse voltammetric curves exhibited well-defined cathodic peaks.
Abstract: The electrochemical detection of free chlorine based on the reduction at a gold electrode has been studied. The dif- ferential pulse voltammetric curves exhibited well-defined cathodic peaks. Investigations with this system suggested that the active species in the cathodic reaction is HClO. Excellent reproducibility was demonstrated at pH 5. The peak height could be used for accurate and rapid determination of free chlorine in a sample water. A linear rela- tionship (r 2 =0.99) was found for the concentration range of 1–5 mgCldm3 and the detection limit was estimated to be 0.04 mgCldm3 . TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyse a shifting paradigm of Dominus Litis (judge activeness) in the Indonesian state administrative justice, which emphasises that judges need to actively develop the paradigm to make legal discoveries oriented towards substantive justice and expand the paradigm from merely resolving disputes positivistically to resolving conflicts with paradigms legal realism and sociological jurisprudence to create substantive justice.
Abstract: This study aimed to analyse a shifting paradigm of Dominus Litis (judge activeness) in the Indonesian state administrative justice This principle emphasises that judges expand the paradigm that judges are not limited to being used in processes regulated in law However, judges need to actively develop the paradigm to make legal discoveries oriented towards substantive justice and expand the paradigm from merely resolving disputes positivistically to resolving conflicts with paradigms Legal realism and sociological jurisprudence to create substantive justice This paper uses the normative research method, with a statutory approach and case approach by analysing two decisions of state administrative court judges The result showed that Dominus Litis in the dispute's accomplishment is not limited to the implementation of juridical-legal positivism factors, but on how judges use their mindset to provide ideal decisions and conduct legal reasoning use socio-legal and socio-cultural paradigms The development of demands for justice has also experienced a paradigm shift of justice It requires the principle of an active judge who always follows developments in public policy, such as the principle of sustainable development related to environmental and natural resource issues, and finding the legal material truth

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the link between women serving in a top management team (TMT) and corporate social responsibility (CSR) disclosure in the banking industry and found that the presence of female executives positively affects CSR disclosure.
Abstract: This paper examines the link between women serving in a top management team (TMT) and corporate social responsibility (CSR) disclosure in the banking industry. We assume that female executives have specific characteristics that lead to better CSR disclosure. Using a dataset consisting of 88 banks incorporated in Indonesia, we find that the presence of female executives positively affects CSR disclosure. However, a sensitivity test revealed an interrelationship among governance mechanisms. Specifically, the beneficial effect of the presence of female executives on CSR disclosure is more pronounced in banks listed on the stock market. Further, the effect of women serving in a TMT is observed only in medium and larger banks and in banks without government ownership.
