TL;DR: Nusselt number expressed in terms of Reynolds and Prandtl numbers is found to give effect of tube diameter and specific heat in erratic manner.
Abstract: Use of dimensionless numbers for expressing experimental results in forced convection is irrational since the independent variables are transformed into interdependent in dimensional analysis. Nusselt number expressed in terms of Reynolds and Prandtl numbers is found to give effect of tube diameter and specific heat in erratic manner. Correlations are presented for gases and liquids in terms of measured variables by avoiding the use of dimensionless numbers. Heat transfer mechanism is discussed.

TL;DR: A new CMOS voltage-mode Four-quadrant analog Multiplier is proposed and analyzed, formed by cascading the complementary diode pair connection with the voltage difference circuit.
Abstract: A new CMOS voltage-mode Four-quadrant analog Multiplier is proposed and analyzed. By applying inputs signals to set of complementary diode pair connection & to that of voltage difference circuit. The circuit is formed by cascading the complementary diode pair connection with the voltage difference circuit. Based on the proposed multiplier circuit, a low voltage high performance CMOS four quadrant analog multiplier is designed and fabricated by using 0.35micron technology. The measured 3dB bandwidth is 15 MHz Simple structure, low-voltage, low power, and high performance makes the proposed multiplier quite feasible in many applications.

TL;DR: The proposed algorithm applies Single Image Dehazing to resolve the issue related to underwater image degradation and shows improvement in an image contrast according to the SNR values.
Abstract: Underwater Images are rarely being taken into consideration and capturing such images is big challenge. Due to attenuating and scattering properties of water, underwater images will be affected. Observing collected database leads to realization of high amount of Haze in an image which was the dominant degrading factor. Hence an enhancement and restoration of images captured is a need for accurate analysis. The proposed algorithm applies Single Image Dehazing to resolve the issue related to underwater image degradation. Firstly, calculation of dark channel to give low intensity value image is performed followed by finding the atmospheric light for underwater images. Further, the transmission image is obtained by using Gaussian Low Pass Filter, which reconstructs image in very less time by removing a good amount of haze as compared to Soft-Matting approach. Refined & Reconstructed image shows improvement in an image contrast according to the SNR values. Also the brightness values are well preserved than input image. Real time monitoring and surveillance in an underwater domain are the potential application areas of this method

TL;DR: A image segmentation approach intuitionistic fuzzy set theory and a new membership function called restricted equivalence function from automorphisms, for finding the membership values of the pixels of the image is proposed here.
Abstract: This paper proposes segmentation and detection of tumor of MRI brain images using a novel method provided by Attanassov intuitionistic fuzzy set theory. Segmentation of such type can be important in detecting different type of tumor, stroke, paralysis etc which are developed inside brain. This type of segmentation is very important in detecting. Segmentation becomes very difficult in medical images which are not properly illuminated. A image segmentation approach intuitionistic fuzzy set theory and a new membership function called restricted equivalence function from automorphisms, for finding the membership values of the pixels of the image is proposed here. An intuitionistic fuzzy image is constructed using Sugeno type intuitionistic fuzzy generator. A new distance measure Intuitionistic Fuzzy Divergence is used. From this Intuitionistic Fuzzy Divergence edge detection is carried out. The results showed a much better performance on poor illuminated medical images, where the brain tumor is detected properly.

TL;DR: In this paper, a novel antenna with the rectangular monopole modified by rounding the edges to improve the performance of antenna which serves as the sensing antenna for cognitive radio and the desired frequency reconfiguration for the communicating antenna is provided by defected ground structure and the slot in the feed-line with switches.
Abstract: Design of antenna for cognitive radio application is proposed in this paper. A novel antenna is presented here with the rectangular monopole modified by rounding the edges to improve the performance of antenna which serves as the sensing antenna for cognitive radio and the desired frequency reconfiguration for the communicating antenna is provided by defected ground structure and the slot in the feed-line with switches. A prototype of the antenna is fabricated and tested. A good agreement is found between the simulated and measured data.
