TL;DR: In this paper new concept of implementing a reconfigurable filter in antenna is defined and it performs function of band pass filter and tunable bandpass frequency operation is achieved.
Abstract: In this paper new concept of implementing a reconfigurable filter in antenna is defined. Filter is employed in UHF antenna and reconfiguration is achieved by incorporating switches in the filter. The integration of filter along with antenna makes it suitable for cognitive radio applications. It performs function of band pass filter and tunable bandpass frequency operation is achieved.

TL;DR: A new histon-based algorithm is proposed in which roughness index of the histon and histogram is used for thresholding and the localised OD area is used as a mask, since it reduces execution time for segmentation of the OD.
Abstract: Blood vessels and optic disc (OD) detection is important in developing systems for automated diagnosis of various ophthalmic pathologies. This work proposes two efficient approaches for automatic detection of blood vessels and OD in retinal images. For extraction of blood vessels, first the Gabor filters are applied so as to enhance the contrast between the blood vessels and the background, and then, local entropy thresholding is applied for segmentation. The DRIVE database is used for comparative analysis. The average accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of proposed method are 93.85, 70.99 and 97.35%, respectively. The proposed technique produced better segmentation when compared with the existing algorithms. For localisation and detection of OD, a new histon-based algorithm is proposed in which roughness index of the histon and histogram is used for thresholding. The localised OD area is used as a mask, since it reduces execution time for segmentation of the OD. The proposed techniques have bee...

TL;DR: Circularly polarized wearable textile antenna using jeans textile material(substrate) for Global Positioning System (GPS) application is presented in this paper.
Abstract: Circularly polarized wearable textile antenna using jeans textile material(substrate) for Global Positioning System (GPS) application is presented in this paper The described antenna have obtained circular polarization (CP) by truncating two opposite edges of the patch The study is concentrating on using jeans as substrate and copper as a conductor The performance testing have been made on the simulation results like bandwidth, reflection coefficient (S11), directivity and axial ratio Technicalities of antenna design, performance and measured result are discussed

TL;DR: This paper proposed the graph-based Unsupervised Word Sense Disambiguation Algorithm to resolve the ambiguity of a word in a given HINDI Language sentence.
Abstract: Word Sense Disambiguation (WSD) aims to identify the correct sense of a word in a given sentence. WSD is considered to be an open and AI-hard problem in Natural Language Processing (NLP). WSD is most important in many applications like Machine Translation (MT), Information Retrieval (IR), Information Extraction (IE), Text mining, and Lexicography etc. Supervised, Semi-supervised and Unsupervised Approaches to WSD are important and successful learning approaches. In this paper, we proposed the graph-based Unsupervised Word Sense Disambiguation Algorithm to resolve the ambiguity of a word in a given HINDI Language sentence. Finding the proper meaning of a word here implies identification of the most important node from the set of graph nodes which are representing the senses. We make use of HINDI wordnet developed at IIT Bombay as reference library of words to form the sense graph.

TL;DR: The routing protocols in MANETs, generates high cost as it depends on hop-by-hop routing which unables to provide anonymity protection to source, destination and routes, so ALERT (Anonymous Location-Based Efficient Routing Protocol) routing protocol can be used which portioned the network into hierarchical zone partition and also randomly chooses the nodes as intermediate relay nodes.
Abstract: The routing protocols in MANETs((Mobile Ad-hoc Networks), generates high cost as it depends on hop-by-hop routing which unables to provide anonymity protection to source, destination and routes.), ALERT (Anonymous Location-Based Efficient Routing Protocol) routing protocol can be used which portioned the network into hierarchical zone partition and also randomly chooses the nodes as intermediate relay nodes. It also hides the data receiver or initiator between many receivers to strengthen source and destination anonymity protection. Thus it provide thwart against many attacks as it provide anonymity protection to sources, destinations and routes.
