04 Dec 2006TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a three-phase AC-to-DC resonant converter with high power factor, low total harmonic distortion and high efficiency, which is operated at frequencies above the resonant frequency.
Abstract: Analysis and design of a three-phase AC-to-DC resonant converter is considered. The power factor of the three-phase AC input line diode bridge rectifier is improved by injecting high-frequency current. The three-phase AC-to-DC resonant converter is operated at frequencies above the resonant frequency. The analysis of the converter is carried out using different operating modes in one switching cycle of the resonant inverter. The design of the AC-to-DC resonant converter is discussed step by step. An experimental prototype of a 3 kW, 500 V output power and operating above 300 kHz has been developed in the laboratory. The proposed three-phase AC-to-DC resonant converter has high power factor, low total harmonic distortion and high efficiency. It requires narrow variation in switching frequency to regulate the output voltage

01 Dec 2018TL;DR: The system proposed in this paper consists of a single unit, which will monitor the environment in various hazardous conditions and provide live video feedback and is able to capture real-time videos which are useful for surveillance for a specific person or area.
Abstract: The system proposed in this paper consists of a single unit, which will monitor the environment in various hazardous conditions and provide live video feedback. Basics of robotics like sensors and actuators, gives an overview on robotic construction. The proposed system is also able to capture real-time videos which are useful for surveillance for a specific person or area. Controlling of Robot is done using a Raspberry Pi3 processor. This robot is more comfortable for military applications such as surveillance of interested area. It will provide tactical advantage during hostage situations or in hostile grounds. It is capable of walking on any surface and providing monitoring over an area. With the help of high quality video transmission the surveillance become more effective. Video quality is improvised in the proposed system. These will prove important in applications like robots for civil use and military robots.

30 Mar 2012TL;DR: This paper provides synthesizing reversible counter which is the new approach in designing four bit reversible asynchronous sequential circuit and proposed a reversible D flip-flop and Tflip-Flop.
Abstract: The reversible logic design in today's era is attracting more interest due to its low power consumption. Reversible logic has growing importantance in low-power circuit design and high processing computing. This paper provides synthesizing reversible counter which is the new approach in designing four bit reversible asynchronous sequential circuit. This paper also proposed a reversible D flip-flop and Tflip-flop. The important reversible gates used for reversible logic synthesis are Feynman gate, Fredkin gate, TSG gate and sayem gate etc. This paper presents a basic reversible gate to build more complicated circuits. The transistorized implementation of reversible gate presented in this paper are completely reversible in nature i.e. it can perform both forward and backward computation.

13 May 2013TL;DR: The design of Sierpinski carpet fractal antenna up to third iteration is presented and fabrication results are in good comparison to the simulation ones, thereby suggesting the credibility of all the designed antennas.
Abstract: The incredible increase in wireless communication in the last few decades has led to the need of antennas with increased bandwidth, gain and low profile. One such technique to achieve wideband/multiband antennas is by applying fractal shape into antenna geometry. This paper presents the design of Sierpinski carpet fractal antenna (SCFA) up to third iteration. To increase the gain further some modifications in the fractal geometry have been proposed. This paper further proposes the modified geometry SCFA and a corporate feed SCFA array. These antennas are designed using HFSS on FR4 substrate with dielectric constant of 4.4 and fed with 50 ohms microstrip line. Out of these a simple 3rd iteration SCFA antenna has been fabricated and tested using a VNA and the fabrication results are in good comparison to the simulation ones, thereby suggesting the credibility of all the designed antennas.
