Matthew Zirui Tay,Chek Meng Poh,Laurent Rénia,Laurent Rénia,Paul A. MacAry,Lisa F. P. Ng,Lisa F. P. Ng,Lisa F. P. Ng +7 more
TL;DR: The interaction of SARS-CoV-2 with the immune system and the subsequent contribution of dysfunctional immune responses to disease progression is described and the implications of these approaches for potential therapeutic interventions that target viral infection and/or immunoregulation are highlighted.

TL;DR: Emerging data from the grey literature and preprint articles suggest BAME individuals are at an increased risk of acquiring SARS-CoV-2 infection compared to White individuals and also worse clinical outcomes from COVID-19.

Incubation period of 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) infections among travellers from Wuhan, China, 20-28 January 2020.
TL;DR: Using the travel history and symptom onset of 88 confirmed cases that were detected outside Wuhan in the early outbreak phase, the mean incubation period is estimated to be 6.4 days, which should help inform 2019-nCoV case definitions and appropriate quarantine durations.

Stephen A. Lauer,Kyra H. Grantz,Qifang Bi,Forrest K. Jones,Qulu Zheng,Hannah R. Meredith,Andrew S. Azman,Nicholas G. Reich,Nicholas G. Reich,Justin Lessler +9 more
TL;DR: The estimates presented here can be used to inform policy in multiple contexts based on the underlying risk of infection and consequences of missed cases, and imply that, under conservative assumptions, 64 out of every 10,000 cases will develop symptoms after 14 days of active monitoring or quarantine.
