Poor survival outcomes in HER2-positive breast cancer patients with low-grade, node-negative tumours.

TL;DR: Support is provided for the use of adjuvant trastuzumab in patients who are typically classified as having very good prognosis, not routinely offered standard chemotherapy, and who as such do not fit current UK prescribing guidelines for trastzumab.

Antibody-conjugated magnetoliposome for targeting cancer cells and their application in hyperthermia

M. Shinkai
TL;DR: Magnetoliposomes for hyperthermia treatment of cancer were prepared by coating phospholipid on to magnetite particles as mentioned in this paper, and the average size of the magnetolipsomes, which were aggregates of 10 nm core magnetites, was about 80 nm.

Biofunctionalization of fluorescent-magnetic-bifunctional nanospheres and their applications

TL;DR: Hydrazide-containing bifunctional nanospheres were covalently coupled on the surface with IgG, avidin, and biotin, to generate novel fluorescent-magnetic-biotargeting trifunctionals, which can be used in a number of biomedical applications, including visual sorting and manipulation of apoptotic cells as demonstrated here.
