Carrier lifetime measurement of perovskite films by differential microwave photoconductivity decay
Keisuke Ohdaira,Huynh Thi Cam Tu,Ai Shimazaki,Ryuji Kaneko,Yuka Sumai,Md. Shahiduzzaman,Tetsuya Taima,Atsushi Wakamiya +7 more
TL;DR: In this article , the minority carrier lifetime of perovskite films was measured by differential microwave photoconductivity decay (μ-PCD), and the degradation of the bare and laminated MAPbI3 films under air exposure at room temperature was clearly observed as the continuous change of the decay curves.
Journal ArticleDOI
Temperature-Dependent EXAFS Measurements of the Pb L3-Edge Allow Quantification of the Anharmonicity of the Lead–Halide Bond of Chlorine-Substituted Methylammonium (MA) Lead Triiodide
TL;DR: In this article , a combined temperature-dependent XRD synchrotron and Pb-L3 edge EXAFS was used to analyze the anharmonicity of the lead halide bond.
Journal ArticleDOI
Modified Hagfeldt Donor for Organic Dyes That Are Compatible with Copper Electrolytes in Efficient Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells
Yu-Hsuan Chen,Ching‐Chin Chen,Nguyễn So'n Vinh,Manman Lu,Yan‐Da Chen,Yu-Cheng Lin,Tzu-Chien Wei,Chen-Yu Yeh +7 more
TL;DR: A series of anthracene-based LC dyes featuring modified bulky Hagfeldt donors have been designed and synthesized for copper electrolyte-based dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) as mentioned in this paper .
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of drying time on the formation of merged and soft MAPbI3 grains and their photovoltaic responses
TL;DR: In this paper , the grain sizes of soft CH3NH3PbI3 thin films and the atomic contact strength at the P3CT-Na interface are manipulated by varying the drying time of the saturated MAPbII3 precursor solutions, which influences the device performance and lifespan of the resultant inverted perovskite photovoltaic cells.

Detailed Balance Limit of Efficiency of p‐n Junction Solar Cells
TL;DR: In this article, an upper theoretical limit for the efficiency of p−n junction solar energy converters, called the detailed balance limit of efficiency, has been calculated for an ideal case in which the only recombination mechanism of holeelectron pairs is radiative as required by the principle of detailed balance.
Journal ArticleDOI
X-ray line broadening from filed aluminium and wolfram
G.K Williamson,W.H Hall +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used a Geiger counter spectrometer to measure the changes in intensity distribution in the spectra of cold worked aluminium and wolfram and found that the line breadths may be attributed to simultaneous small particle size and strain broadening, the latter predominating at the higher Bragg angles.
Journal ArticleDOI
Double-slit photoelectron interference in strong-field ionization of the neon dimer.
Maksim Kunitski,Nicolas Eicke,Pia Huber,Jonas Köhler,S. Zeller,J. Voigtsberger,Nikolai Schlott,K. Henrichs,H. Sann,Florian Trinter,Lothar Ph. H. Schmidt,Anton Kalinin,Markus Schöffler,Till Jahnke,Manfred Lein,Reinhard Dörner +15 more
TL;DR: The authors show the double-slit interference effect in the strong-field ionization of neon dimers by employing COLTRIMS method to record the momentum distribution of the photoelectrons in the molecular frame.
Journal ArticleDOI
Lead Iodide Perovskite Sensitized All-Solid-State Submicron Thin Film Mesoscopic Solar Cell with Efficiency Exceeding 9%
Hui-Seon Kim,Chang-Ryul Lee,Jeong-Hyeok Im,Ki Beom Lee,Thomas Moehl,Arianna Marchioro,Soo-Jin Moon,Robin Humphry-Baker,Jun-Ho Yum,Jacques-E. Moser,Michael Grätzel,Nam-Gyu Park +11 more
TL;DR: The use of a solid hole conductor dramatically improved the device stability compared to (CH3NH3)PbI3 -sensitized liquid junction cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structural absorption by barbule microstructures of super black bird of paradise feathers
TL;DR: Physical structure is known to contribute to the appearance of bird plumage through structural color and specular reflection, but a third mechanism, structural absorption, leads to low reflectance and super black color in birds of paradise feathers.
