Antifungal substances produced by Penicillium frequentans and their relationship to the biocontrol of Monilinia laxa

TL;DR: Both antibiotics showed significant inhibition wide range of plant pathogenic fungi including M. laxa after 70 days and preparations of antibiotics were obtained from crude filtrates of frequentans has recently been shown both in the laboratory (9) and 20-day-old stationary cultures of P. frequentans and Cladosporium cucumerinum.
