TL;DR: Genomic alterations impairing antigen presentation or immune activation may enable resistance to ICIs in a small subset of cases, but the majority of repeat biopsies obtained from pts progressing on ICIs lacked clear genetic mediators of resistance, suggesting the presence of additional tumor-intrinsic and/or tumor-extrinsics factors underlying resistance toICIs in NSCLC.

TL;DR: In this article , a single-cell RNA-sequencing study of bone marrow and peripheral blood mononuclear cell samples from patients with MGUS and SMM was conducted, which revealed that the immune cell populations that are altered in disease may directly interact with the tumor.
