TL;DR: It is reported that AAT may regulate neutrophil-driven autoimmunity, and a mechanistic role for TNF-α and neutrophils in AATD is suggested and AAT augmentation as a therapeutic avenue for other T NF-α–mediated autoimmune diseases is supported.
