Surface instabilities during swelling of pH-sensitive hydrogels
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reported the presence of cell-type patterns on the surface of poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate-co-methacrylic acid) during planar swelling in a buffered solution of pH = 10 at 27.5° C.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bioadhesives for Optimization of Drug Delivery
TL;DR: In this article, Bioadhesives for Optimization of Drug Delivery are used to optimize the drug delivery in the context of target-based drug delivery, where the authors use BioAdhesives as an optimization technique.
Journal ArticleDOI
Relaxational behavior and swelling‐pH master curves of poly[(diethylaminoethyl methacrylate)‐graft‐(ethylene glycol)] hydrogels
TL;DR: In this article, a molar ratio of 10:1 of diethylaminoethyl methacrylate to poly(ethylene glycol) of number-average molecular weights (Mn) 200, 400 and 1000 g mol−1 using tetra(ethylenes glycol), dimethacrylated to give a crosslinking ratio between 0.5 and 4.0 %.
Journal ArticleDOI
Vision for Functionally Decorated and Molecularly Imprinted Polymers in Regenerative Engineering
TL;DR: The utility and limitations of existing materials employed for regenerative engineering applications are discussed, which balance the dynamic need to provide mechanical strength, present therapeutic biomolecules, permit cell entry, and degrade over time.
