Biodiversity redistribution under climate change: impacts on ecosystems and human well-being

Gretta T. Pecl, +47 more
- 31 Mar 2017 -
TL;DR: The negative effects of climate change cannot be adequately anticipated or prepared for unless species responses are explicitly included in decision-making and global strategic frameworks, and feedbacks on climate itself are documented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of solar ultraviolet radiation on terrestrial ecosystems. Patterns, mechanisms, and interactions with climate change

TL;DR: The results of previous work on the effects of the UV-B component (280-315 nm) on terrestrial ecosystems are summarized, and important knowledge gaps in understanding of the interactive effects of UV radiation and climate change are highlighted.
