Journal ArticleDOI

Unconventional domain band structure at the crack tip in ferroelectric ceramics

TL;DR: In this article, the authors have shown that the domain band structure in front of an indentation crack under lateral electric loading is unconventional, attributed to the highly localizing crack tip electric field.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Pol-SAR images classification using texture features and the complex Wishart distribution

TL;DR: A new method for supervised classification of terrain types in polarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radar (Pol-SAR) images is proposed, which is a combination of the texture classification and the maximum likelihood classification based on the complex Wishart distribution for the polarIMetric covariance matrix.

Electrochemical behavior of tin foil anode in half cell and full cell with sulfur cathode

TL;DR: In this article, a half cell and a full cell with a pre-lithiated Sn foil anode and a sulfur cathode was constructed and tested, and the full cell exhibits an initial capacity of 1142mAh g−1 (based on the sulfur mass in the cathode).
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of Chemical Structure on Polymer-Templated Growth of Graphitic Nanoribbons.

TL;DR: It is found that metal-binding functional groups are crucial for obtaining uniform and continuous GNRs and a polymer with aromatic moieties leads to a higher sp(2) percentage in the resulting GNRs, showing a higher graphitization degree and electrical conductivity.
