TL;DR: It is proved that if a partial cube G contains no divergent rays, then there exists a non-empty finite convex subgraph of G which is fixed by every automorphism of G, and it is shown that those fixed subgraphs can be specified for some particular partial cubes.

29 Sep 2014TL;DR: An overview of experiences and research in applying artificial intelligence approaches and techniques for intellectual capital management is presented in this paper, where the authors give some perspectives for the future of the future.
Abstract: Strategic Knowledge Management considers Intellectual Capital (IC) as roots of all organizations activities. The success of organizations strongly depends on the way they manage all facets of knowledge and skills. Artificial Intelligence brought some methods and techniques for handling intellectual assets of companies, expertise management, knowledge transfer and training. This paper presents an overview of experiences and research in applying artificial intelligence approaches and techniques for intellectual capital management and gives some perspectives for the future.

07 Jan 2021TL;DR: In this article, the authors define and initiate a knowledge base on climate change and more specifically on WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment) for large metropolitan cities such as Metropole of Lyon and Metropoli of Montpellier.
Abstract: French Metropolitan Cities have developed their PCETs program (Territorial Climate and Energy Plan) to meet the objectives set by the European Union for 2020 and the National Climate Plan, in France. This research aim is defining and initiating a knowledge base on climate change and more specifically on WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment) for large Metropolitan cities such as Metropole of Lyon and Metropole of Montpellier. This Knowledge base will contain best (and bad) practices, experiences, suited metrics, collaborative measures, projects, etc., using the Knowledge Management approach exploring artificial intelligence techniques. For our methodology we work on the state of the art for building such a knowledge base, taking into account the previous works of Boulanger [1, 2], Mercier-Laurent [3, 4, 5, 6] and Kayakutlu and Mercier-Laurent [7]. We begin to list existing materials in order to implement a knowledge base on the recycling of products starting by electronic devices.

TL;DR: A re-reading of Livy's famous excursus on the introduction of theatre at Rome is presented in this paper, with the question: does he really teach us what the origins of this practice were? If not, which topic, different or complementary, does he propose?
Abstract: We offer a re-reading of Livy’s famous excursus on the introduction of theatre at Rome, having these questions in mind: does he really teach us what the origins of this practice were? If not, which topic, different or complementary, does he propose? We base our inquiry on the study of the structure and the place of the passage in the Livian history; on a reading of the different steps surveyed by the historian; on an analysis of the questions raised by the apparition of the ludi scaenici and the role played by Livius Andronicus.
