Russian military patriotic education: a control tool against the arbitrariness of veterans

Abstract: The military had been concerned about military patriotic education for a long time when Putin's Patriotic Education Programme was published. As soon as the collapse of the Soviet Union occurred, followed a few years later by the creation of the Russian armed forces, they had already been developing patriotic education programmes aimed primarily at youth, aided by veterans of local wars, both volunteers and recruits. The aim of this article is to show that the military version of patriotic education aims openly to encourage military service, and that the Russian state will try to enlist veterans of the Afghanistan and Chechen wars in activities linked to military patriotic education and its spread in military and civilian spheres. Abstract: Dans le cadre d'une problematique d'ensemble sur les difficultes cognitive posees par l'acquisition des concepts informatiques, nous avons etudie chez des eleves debutants, la resolution de problemes relatifs a la representation et au traitement des variables informatiques, dans une tâche de completion de lignes manquantes dans un programme. Les resultats permettent de discuter les relations entre d'une part la nature des solutions apportees par les eleves, d'autre part les proprietes du champs conceptuel en jeu et la maniere dont les concepts ont ete introduits.

A comitative source for object markers in Sinitic languages: 跟kai55 in Waxiang and 共kang7 in Southern Min

Abstract: This analysis sets out to specifically discuss the polyfunctionality of 跟[kai55] in Waxiang (Sinitic), whose lexical source is the verb ‘to follow’. Amongst its various uses, we find a preposition ‘with, along’, a marker of adjuncts and a NP conjunction, thus superficially resembling its Mandarin cognate 跟gēn ‘with’. Curiously, however, it has also evolved into a direct object marker in Waxiang, with a function similar to that of the preposition 把bǎ dative/benefactive > accusative (direct object marker).
