01 Sep 2016TL;DR: In this paper geometry of the antenna and various parameters such as return loss plot, gain plot, radiation pattern plot and VSWR plot are presented & discussed and they are in good match with simulated results.
Abstract: This paper presents a low profile microstrip patch antenna for next generation 5G devices. The proposed patch antenna has a compact structure of 20mm × 20mm × 1.6mm including the ground plane, which is suitable to be used in handheld devices. The antenna resonates at 10.15 GHz covering 5G frequency band. The proposed design provides a gain of 4.46dBi and the radiation pattern is omni-directional. In this paper geometry of the antenna and various parameters such as return loss plot, gain plot, radiation pattern plot and VSWR plot are presented & discussed. Measured results are also presented and they are in good match with simulated results.

08 May 2014TL;DR: The research presented aims to apply OLSR routing protocol in FANETs and study of O LSR under different mobility models to optimize the performance of OLSS in FANSETs.
Abstract: MANETs are getting exposure due to their versatile applications in the last few years. New networking paradigms like VANETs and FANETs have evolved by using the concept of MANETs. FANETs provide a distinguished approach to tackle with the situations like emergency, natural disaster, military battle fields, UAVs etc. Due to the high mobility in FANETs nodes and rapid topology change, it is a big challenge for researcher to apply routing in FANETs. Mobility models also play a very important role in optimizing the performance of routing protocol in FANET. The research presented aims to apply OLSR routing protocol in FANETs and study of OLSR under different mobility models to optimize the performance of OLSR in FANETs.
